I feel completely taken advantage of! The contractor lied from the beginning, turning what should have been a 1-2 day project into a never-ending ordeal spanning 2 months. It was excuse after excuse, with no-shows and even drinking on the job. Their unprofessionalism was astounding, and the constant lies were unbearable. To make matters worse, they showed up unannounced at 8:30 PM, speaking to me and my daughter through the window while I was in the shower. That was the last straw! Despite my attempts to be understanding, I had to put my foot down, especially as a single mom where every penny counts. Thankfully, my ex-husband intervened and ensured they stayed off the property. Now, I'm left to pick up the pieces, hiring someone else to fix the mess they left behind.

Owner is an absolute **** ***. Terrible communication and shotty work. Consistent issues with pool. Repair job only made things worse. Pay attention to the online reviews. Their real.

It should have zero stars! This review is based on work done almost 12 months ago when I purchased a pool from ****** ***** *********** & used their recommended installer Advanced Pools & Repair LLC. I was just going to chalk up this interaction to bad luck. However as I have attempted to open my pool this year and have had to contract a more professional pool installer, i needed to write this review. I have a list of bullet points but the BBB doesn't have a drop down to attach files or photos. This issue took place over several months as I purchased the pool in the fall of 2021, it was delivered & stored in my garage over the winter. Mr Peters, the owner of Advanced pools came over on 9/14/21 & took a $1000 deposit . His contract was to remove my old pool & install the new pool. He came in March 2022 & took down old pool & left it in my yard for weeks. I knew this was a bad start. I reached out to him multiple times in April & May asking for an install date. I had actually reached out to another installer, willing to lose the $1000 deposit. I contracted another installer to start (it was already mid-June) and the next day Mr. Peters and his crew are at my house installing. He did set up the pool and install the liner. However he left the job site without any water in my pool so he couldn't set the bottom & minimize wrinkles which there are plenty of & will eventually decrease the life of the pool. Nor did he set up, plumb & run the filter. Even when ****** urged him to return, he only ran hose from filter to pool, cheap corrugated hose (supplied by ********) that collapsed when I finally got the filter running. Never plugged in filter, if he tried he would have found out it was the wrong type of plug for the outlet. Even after I finished plumbing the pool and turned on the filter all connections leaked. I ended up buying my own vacuum hose, plumbing & using it temporarily last summer. This is my 3rd above ground pool and by far the worst experience of my life.
