Last month, on the 30th I walked into the laundromat to get my leather jacket dry cleaned. I cannot remember if I paid them because it has been so long that the slip I was given has faded, I am pretty sure I paid, it would have been 45$ but that's not the part I care about. What I do care about is that I still don't have my jacket back. The slip said it would be ready on the 10th, I am in the national guard and that was drill weekend so I walk in on the 12th. Guy tells me give to give him a few more days. I call him on the 19th, he says he needs a few more days and I call him the following Sunday, Tells me he needs another week. At this point I just want my jacket back and he says no he doesn't have it. I feel as if they either didn't properly clean it and its destroyed or whoever is cleaning it just doesn't care about being punctual. I've had this jacket for years it means a lot to me, at this point I don't even care if I get a refund I just want my property back. I feel like I'm being gaslighted because I'm never given a date in the now 3 times I've asked for my jacket. The second time when I called I said I've had it I want it back and he said no he doesn't have it. I feel as if I've been robbed. As a consumer I just want my jacket back dry cleaned or not and if for some reason it has been destroyed through improper cleaning techniques I would like to be reimbursed for it. The agreement was it was it would be ready on the 10th of June it is now as of the time of me typing this complaint the 26th, I find that unacceptable. BBB spoke with the consumer and they advised that after filing the complaint the business reached out and resolved the issue by returning the jacket.Customer response
