I gave town fair tire a chance but I was disappointed by their customer service. I had a morning appointment which once I got there they said it would be awhile usually 90 minute wait after all it took them 5 hours to finish my car. Why did I have a morning appointment then? They were never apologizing for anything. I felt like a number pulled from a drawing that still spent over 1000 dollars for tires overall I wouldn’t recommend them to my best friend. There is more but too much to list. Plenty of other tire shops that take pride in there customer service department to save a couple dollars. Your time is valuable too don’t forget that.

Went in for a budge on one of my tires (6700 miles on the current set) and they INSISTED that all 4 must be replaced. They also used the fact that I needed to go out of town for work the next few days that “they didn’t have my tires in stock so they would either order them and get it done in a few days. Or I could change the four today.” I recommend calling ALL other options before going to this establishment. They told me that it would be at least and hour or two before the car could get into the shop since I was a walk in. When I called 20 minutes after checking my car in to cancel the work because I had found a place nearby with my tire in stock they told me “we already put the tires on and it’s getting aligned”. I proceeded to walk back and wait another HOUR before getting my car back. They definitely had not started work and were afraid of losing my money for their scam.

I was subjected to a scare tactic and lies in Town Fair Tire's ********* **** attempt to get me to buy tires. I ordered rims and showed up for an appointment to have them installed. The woman at the front desk went outside and apparently inspected my tires. She came into the waiting room and informed me that my tires were bad. I asked her to show me. She indicated that the tread on the inside of the tire (which couldn't be seen) was worn and was not as good as the tread on the outside. I felt the outside and inside. I told her they felt the same. She stated that the worn out tires met conditions for my tires to blowout. A male employee joined her outside. I later learned that he was the manager (named Jordan). He supported the female employee's claim & told me my car wouldn't pass the State required inspection. I told him that it passed inspection within the past 7 days. He then said it would not be good in snow. I told him that last winter it plowed through snowbanks. He said that there is another year's worth of tire use. This is my second vehicle which doesn't get driven much. I may have driven 500 miles in the past year. I doubt if the tires were so worn that it wouldn't be good in snow. I told them that I WAS NOT buying new tires. Once the rims were on the car, the female employee came to the waiting room letting me know that my car was ready and she said my tires were worse then what she had indicated earlier. Before I left, I asked whether or not they had aligned my vehicle (which was prepaid). They said they hadn't aligned the car. They said they could take it back into the bay and align it. They claimed it would take 10 minutes. In 10 minutes I was provided with my keys. I was so afraid of driving my vehicle 20 miles home out of fear of a blowout. Before driving home, I stopped at another tire sales business and asked them how my tires were. They checked them and said there was nothing wrong with them.

I have been a regular customer of Townfair tires in ********* since 2013. But recently they have gone really money minded, damage existing setup so they force customers to get more services and they can earn more money. For my ****** ***** **** did tire rotation in the week of Sept 10 2024. My car had hubwheels caps which were little bit worn out 3 fully functional and one was damaged. the technician broke all the hubwheel caps stating they were really of bad quality and was broken hence he did not put it back. this is NOT acceptable as my hubcaps were fully functional and as I work in the city they are imperative as they provide protection against the curbs while doing parallel parking. Another experience - I had done wheel alignment and balancing few weeks ago as my car was running excellently on the road even at 80+ mph - no vibrations at all. During this tire rotation they fully damaged my car's alignment and now since past few days car starts to vibrate as soon as the speed reaches 55+ mph. It all started when I went to drop the car, the associate was very very adamant to get the alignment done and as I said It was just done a few weeks ago and car runs very very smoothly with no complains. He said it should have been done as the appointment booked had alignment mentioned in it. I said I am only needed tire rotation and nothiing else. He was very disappointed with the conversation. When I was talking to the manager that I will reach corporate and BBB for help with hubcaps - he mentioned that I was threatening him. My response was that I am being transparent and not threatening. I being a very regular customer of ********* location I feel that they should be fully responsible for my car alignment to be fixed and hubcaps to be installed at NO cost to me ASAP.

Asked for 4 new tires and alignment. New tires were put on really fast. I have no complaints on that. When I was paying, I was told I would have to get new tire rods before the alignment could get done. But if I brought my car back within 90 days the alignment would be "Free of Charge." When I looked over bill in parking lot, I realized I was charged $74 for the alignment. Thinking it was an honest mistake I went back in for refund. The guy then tried to justify charging me the $74 for a service not rendered and that they had the best price around...like he's doing me a favor of "Locking in" this deal. I told him if I want to pay $500 for an alignment that's my business but Town Fair has NO business charging me for a service they didn't give me. He got mad and told me I'd have to wait cuz he was busy. Another co-worker overhearing the story, took my paperwork and gave me the refund, no questions asked. Hmmm...seems like this guy has heard this complaint before. When I got home, I realized the Free tire rotation and Free tire patch were taken off as well. Not sure if the computer does that automatically or he was trying to make some sort of point. Either way, their website states nowhere that in order to get those freebies you must have an alignment done. I see other people have had this same issue. If you don't catch it or never go back for the alignment, they just fraudulently charged your credit card for $74...So NOT "Free of Charge" as I was fraudulently told. The D.A. needs to get involved in this as it seems to be an ongoing scam with Town Fair.

I’d give a zero if I could. Brought my car in for new tires $1100 later I picked up my vehicle and driving home, the car started sliding all over the road, I was lucky not to get into an accident, when I was able to pull over I checked all tires and the rear drivers side had 3 of the 5 lug nuts on and those 3 were not even hand tight. I emailed corporate customer service 2 times and nobody has responded. I did return to the store, ****** *** and they replaced the lugs and fixed the stripped wheel studs, put the tire and the lugs back on, and refunded 50 % of my money. The refund was nice but this should never happen very unsafe and reckless endangerment!!!

Very bad customer service. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!. Brought in my car for an appointment to do tire rotation. 6 hours later the car was in the same place I left it. They do not have a way to know which customers have appointments and which do not. So, what’s the point of having an appointment? I called customer service and they did not own their mistake and kept bouncing the blame to the customers.

I believe Town Fair Tire is committing fraud with their front wheel or four wheel alignment. They take payment for the alignment when you purchase new tires. Then they take the car in the back put on the new tires, put the vehicle on the alignment machine, come back and instead of performing the alignment they tell you the bolts are rusted and that you would have to take to a mechanic to free them up. Then they tell you you only have 90 days to bring it back but do not offer a refund on the alignment. I have a 2019 ***** ***** ******* that I do much of the maintenance on since it was new. It has 18 bolts to drop the underside guard to get at the bolts to do the alignment. I dropped it the day after they told be it had rusted bolts. There was no rust dirt or any corrosion stopping them from performing the alignment. Two weeks later my daughter replaced 4 Tires on her ******** **** with the same type of guard. Once again they told her the bolts were rusted and she would have to take to a mechanic to free them. Once again no refund. I have seen other reviews with this identical complaint. I firmly believe that when the store is busy they will not take the time to do the alignment and grab an extra $79.00 for work they do not perform. I firmly believe it is a regular scam the stores are perpetrating on its customers.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for new tires. I told the girl behind the counter that the spare tire was on the front passenger side and that I wanted it to be returned and have the tire with the nail in it in the back replaced. They advised me they could change the tires, but the alignment guy wasn't there, so I'd have to bring it back on Monday for that. No problem. I get home and look in the back of my SUV and there is a tire there. It's the tire with the nail in it. It's after 4 and they are closed. Go in on Monday morning at 10 and they said the tire has already been disposed of. So, they kept my practically brand-new tire and left me with the one with the nail in it and the spare rim on the vehicle, but they could sell me a spare for $130. No thank you. They hand me the keys out of the work envelope (for the alignment) and tell me I'm all set. I get home and I look at the paper and it's not for my car. I go back and tell them I want the sheet for my car. After searching their system, they can't find it and take my keys stating they will get right on it. I still don't know if it was ever done or not. service was terrible.

The most unprofessional treatment of my entire life. This situation beginning months ago with a tire purchase gone horribly wrong. The company allows customers to leave in unsafe vehicles and in store management must wear camouflage cause I really couldn’t tell you what he looks like although I’ve been physically in store for resolution on 5 separate days. Rich Allen although helpful with a refund for services ended up being a disappointment as well. He really thought it would be appropriate to let the same store that risked my life to handle the shipping of my replaced property that was damaged during my services ($1100 worth of damages mind you)
