My car was involved in an accident and was taken to Kar Kare Carstar for repairs on 02/16/2022. After a month of being in the shop, my car was finally returned to me with the body fixed but the internal headlight still not functioning. After bringing this issue up to Larry, one of the representatives at Kar Kare Carstar, he suggested that I take my car to *** to have them repair it since they are certified and more equipped to handle these complex matters. I asked Larry about how the payment would work and he ensured me that all I needed to do was file another claim with the insurance company and they would reimburse me. I ended up taking my car to a *** shop twice just to access the issue with the light and paid $600.00. *** estimated repairs to be $1400. Before I agreed to the repair, I contacted the insurance company for reimbursement of the original $600. They informed me that the original car repair shop (Kar Kare Carstar) would have to submit a supplemental request before they could reimburse me. I informed Larry of this information and he has agreed to get my car back into his shop to repair the light and to submit the supplement to the insurance company. I have been contacting Larry since April 2022 to get my car in for repairs but have had no success. On multiple occasions he has promised to get my car in within days or weeks of our conversation. After multiple calls and emails, I have not been able to bring my car back into the shop for repairs. Furthermore, I am out $600 that the insurance company did not pay out since Larry never submitted a supplemental request. I am requesting my vehicle to finally be repaired and be reimbursed the $600 for repair assessments that should have been handled at Kar Kare Carstar.
