  ******* ******** ***, under the name Chimney Cleaning and Repair Experts (see attached invoice) advertised on ************* that they provide gas fireplace repair services. I contacted them via email to repair my gas fireplace and they sent someone on Oct 7 2023 who represented themselves as a "certified expert" (see attached). That person took my gas fireplace apart, claimed that there was a problem with my chimney cap, and said to fix the issue would be more than $4000 this time of year. He never got on my roof to look at my chimney, did not use any video to inspect my chimney (as the receipt claimed), did not make any effort at all to fix my gas fireplace. He asked for $129 via Venmo, which I paid to the technician, David. Afterwards, I contacted the company via email for the report of the work and the receipt - which they sent in two separate emails (attached). As you can see, he didn't record any attempted repair or diagnosis of the gas fireplace, but instead claimed to have done a chimney inspection, which we never asked for and he never did. I called David the technician to talk to him about the report, and he claimed that "another David" in his office must have filled out that technician's report and sent it to me. He said he wold send me the "correct one" that day, but of course he never did, because his work was fraudulent and was never done. I would like a full refund and other people to be warned of this fraud.

  Yes, on the Inspection Report that CT Cleaning and Repair Experts issued to me, in the bottom right in small print it says ******** ******* ******* *** has discussed any visible defects and has recommended corrective actions." I don't  know how Patriot Chimney Service LLC had a role in this gas fireplace issue. 

  Here is the ** *ddress for CT Cleaning and Repair Experts in *********** ** (as shown on ************* which is where I placed my service request). When I google this business, it shows up registered as "Chimney and Duct Experts, with an address as:
