Worst salon ever! I tried 3 times to try and explain what I wanted. They were very dismissive and unresponsive. I asked if anyone spoke English because I didn't feel they understood my wants. No response. I should have walked out right then and there. I made it VERY clear I did not want a gel pedicure. The water was cold and they kept switching techs. They said it would last 3 months which I knew could not happen because nails grow. A month later I went to another salon and they had great difficulty removing the polish. When I asked why they said it was gel! I was very angry knowing I specifically told them no gel. I also had to pay extra for them to try and remove the gel and they did their best but couldn't get it all off. I didn't know any better when Nina's was putting it on but had remembered the awful time many years ago when I had gel and it took 6 months to get it off. When I went back to Nina's to confront them and asked for my money back, they refused. They pretend they don't understand English but if you say something to someone else they start talking in English to defend themselves. I told them I was going to call the cops which I did. They said I had to leave and I waited in the parking lot. I knew the cops couldn't do anything, I just wanted to give her a wakeup call that she can't treat people that way and be unethical. While I was waiting outside she stood in the doorway and did this voodoo cleansing ritual by waving incense or something through the air, then threw out a powdered white substance all over the ground and then threw "holy water" in the air. All of it very bizarre. I would never go there again and recommend all to stay away. Very rude, unethical, lack of cleanliness etc. Look at all the bad reviews they receive. When the cop came and went inside to talk to her, I stayed outside and he came out and said she was very uncooperative to the point of even refusing to give her name. Ugh! They will never last treating people that way.

The customer she got pedicure done. Doesn’t matter she wants gel or not, it’s just a polish on top of real nails. If she find difficult to take it off she should come back and we will take it off for free. She enjoyed her pedicure for 3 Months and come back for a refund. I feel like she went to ********** and enjoyed her good foods and 3 months later come back for money back. If something happened to her pedicure we will fix it but her pedicure was good for 3 months. Then She went to some other salon for another pedicure and got nothing to do with my salon. She went there for her pedicure why I gotta pay for her. They did her pedicure and take her old nail polish off is their duty but they scam her for taking polish off. She should come back to my place to take polish off when they told her they gonna charge an extra fee for polish removal. People worked hard for her feet making money not easy. She should appreciate. Karma watching her

      More Information...Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the info is incorrect. She is saying karma is going to get me - I did nothing wrong to warrant karma. I stood up for myself over unethical business practices. She is saying I came back after 3 months which is not correct. How does she even know when I first came as they don't ask your name or any info when you come in. She is saying she only put regular polish on over my nails but yet she charged me $65! It wasn't regular polish, the other salon had such a hard time getting it off and still was not sucessful in removing all of it. What about her uncleanliness of salon- employees in bare feet, a dog urinating on the floor and an employee with bare feet throwing down a paper towel and wiping with her feet, cold water for pedicure, reusing towels, not sanitizing tools, etc.  Read your reviews, they are almost all 1 star as that is the lowest you can give. There is one employee there who seems to be good, he is the one with good reviews. Another employee said  "She doesn't care" when I went in to complain. As far as I am concerned the salon should be shut down but I will let faate decide because you cannot have success with these practices. Thank you.

      Sincerely,
