I had my hair done as part of a bridal party on Saturday, June 11, 2032 with MBDBeauty. The style that I received was nothing like what I showed the stylist and even after having her touch it up, it still didn’t fit my needs- the day wasn’t about me so I was fine moving on and fixing it myself. But the main issue is that I have naturally very curly hair and a large portion of my hair is now pin straight as if I received a blow out after this service and washing my hair many, many times. My hair also is incredibly damaged and smells burnt. I didn’t have the best feeling when Giselle was styling my hair because the way she was using the straightener and pulling at my hair was painful and I also smelled burning. When I contacted the owner Andrea via text about my damaged hair, she was very apologetic and we had settled on a refund in the amount paid which was about ~$90. She said she would send a form for me to fill out for the refund and never did. I contacted her again, she said she would resend. I have not received anything and have also emailed twice with no reply. My phone number appears to have been blocked by the owner, Andrea so I have no way to contact her as she is also not replying to emails. I am simply looking for the refund I was promised to help offset the cost of treatments due to the severe damage from her stylists.
