Hello l gave Nicolas hatch of Hatch estate auctions in ******* **** 600 painting to put up for auction for me he put up 30 up for auction and paid me for the 30 then he told me he is going to put up the remaining 570 paintings up for auction and he has not done his job he did not put them up for auction and does not answer the phone He is a horrible person and an even worse businessman warning to anybody trying to do business with Nicolas hatch and Hatch estate auctions he is a thief and a crook and should not be trusted with your valuablesInitial Complaint

Nick Hatch offered to consign many items for me as I had recently lost my husband and was moving. Everything from furniture to a generator was given to him. Items totaling above 10k in value. I was told I would receive payment in a timely manner for the items auctioned by him. Months went by, I moved and could not make contact with him via phone or email. Luckily I had a friend who was close to his partner and was able to make contact. She stated he would make it right. He was currently back in rehab for a drug or alcohol problem. A few more weeks passed and I reached out to a friend in law enforcement. They were able to make contact with him. He was quoted telling the Sargent that reach out. “Tell the B to sue me”. Do not do business with this man. He is a crook.Initial Complaint

I contacted Nick H**** in September 2021 about consigning many items from our home because we were moving. Nick was pleasant, responsive and polite, I trusted him. He came to to my house with 2 men and a moving van and took dining chairs, glasses, vases, my grandmothers fur stole, never worn prom dress, etc, so so many items. I have pictures. When i asked for an accounting and contract, he said that he would get it right over to me. All I received was a blank contract. I asked numerous times for updates, and only received promises that payment was in the mail. I have his emails and have not received any checks. Now he does not respond to my emails, calls and texts. Hatch Auctions has had my items since 9/21- sold some last year & paid me. They have had 3 auctions since February & have not paid me. I have reached out to owner Nick H**** numerous times since February. I had no reply. He sold a lot of my items since Feb 2022 had not paid me. His website declares payment in 2 weeks. I signed older contract last year, stating payment 30 days. He owes me approx $2000 & also has some additional items from last September. I’ve been told by others on this auction platform that they no longer work with him. He had very bad business practices.
