" I financed through North Mill almost two years ago, the entire experience was amazing. " Firstly, I went through a broker for the first time and I'll tell you, GO THROUGH A BROKER! He helped navigate every aspect of the transaction from initial credit report to submitting applications, getting back competitive offers, and finalizing everything. A Good broker is worth their weight in gold! Secondly, North Mill has been an amazing company to work with. Yes I have a higher interest rate which i ultimately plan to refinance, but other wise they have been a pleasure. They are short staffed since covid, 100% but they work very hard and they provide a much needed service, giving customers the ability to own and manage their own business. I signed a contract after first fully reading it and understanding it, I'm an adult, I know if I default, there are consequences. It's unfortunate for anyone to lose something they have worked so hard for and the people at North Mill understand this, they aren't heartless cruel people, but business is business. Very very disappointed with this company I have paid payments from 2021, up to 2023 and I don't understand how I get behind 3 payments they repo equipment then noone let me know anything, I've called sent messages and emails always reply late & never in time to get this issye resolved. The one lady felt judgmental & made me feel like nothing as if I wasn't paying $1800 amonth since 2021. I tried to see if we could get a solution done then she give me 4 different options to pay that was not reasonable, and took to long to send me the number for my personal items to get out the equipment then I called the repo team & they told me this lady had them already send the equipment off to the auction after they repo it, basically not even giving me a chance to redeem it or know nothing seem very sneaky & suspicious. I do not recommend this company and can tell they will be dishing out some settlement lawsuit with how they treating small businesses sooner or later for sure. To many games being played. Buyer / Borrower BEWARE. We financed a trailer through this company and tried registering it with PENNDOT, but due to PENNDOT issues losing paperwork and rejecting the paperwork numerous times it has yet to be registered. North Mill went into my bank account and deducted $1,000 without my knowledge and without my permission, claiming it was a penalty for not registering the trailer. I told the very rude title clerk, Yocasta, that we did everything we could on our end that it was PENNDOT. She kept talking over me, kept saying we were evading their calls and emails and we did not. North Mill spoke with tag place 2 days before they withdrew the money from my account and were informed of the status of the registration. I have made numerous phone calls trying to reach supervisor, Denise but she is "in meetings" for the last 2 days and apparently she is the only one who can rectify the situation. Yocasta called me back because she saw i was trying to reach Denise and tells me " she isnt going to give your money back so......do you still want to talk to her?" i said YES! Quite obvious Im being tossed around. I read my contract and had an attorney look at contract and theres no specific deadline for title processing and nothing notated about govt titling departments taking their time etc and that the borrower would be penalized for that. Looks like they dont have a leg to stand on. If you still choose to finance with them even after reading all the complaints, be prepared for legal battles, frustration and dealing with rude, unprofessional clerks and a company that does illegal things. I was forced to leave at least one star. Trust me, they are not even worthy of that one star, they deserve no stars and if anything owe me a star.North Mill Equipment Finance LLC Response

This is the most under handed company I have ever dealt with. Robert C******* Will not return phone calls until he needs something for himself. We have been trying to get a pay off amount for months now and nothing! Now we get a Email that North mill has filed a default on our equipment because we went past the FIVE DAY deadline for payment. We will be contacting our lawyer in this matter! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! You would be better off getting a loan from the ****** or ** ******* We had our equipment down to one payment and requested a pay off letter now they want 7000.00 dollars more which is the equivalent to 3.5 more paymentsNorth Mill Equipment Finance LLC Response

On 9/28/2021, we purchased our first truck through Mr Lance M******* Snr VP of National Sales of ******* ******** **** The total price after all taxes and fees was $98,085.61 (Refer to Exhibit A attached). We were asked to pay $5,000 upfront to cover the last two months of the payments. This left us with a loan balance of $93,085.61. This is the total amount financed by the North Mills Equipment Finance on 9/28/2021. (Which we were never informed by the broker Lance Martin that we are going to be financed by this company called North Mills Equipment Finance Company....***lack of relevant disclosure. We were informed that we are to pay $2,700.05 per month for 54 months.....***making the total amount to be paid $2,700.05 x 54 = $145,802.70. This means interest paid on a $93,085.61 calculates to be $52,717.09 over 54 months. I asked Mr Lance M***** (the broker) about the rate of interest I am paying on this loan. He never provided the rate. I kept asking and finally he responded to my email on 5/24/2023 stating that "there is no interest rate, only finance charges." This company is not complying with the requirement of "Truthful Lending" since does not disclose rate of interest. I kept asking and they said they don't have to disclose interest rate. calculating it myself, I am getting a rate of 54.86%. The only avenue is to file a class action lawsuit because based on the responses I am reading on other related complaints, they just sing a song of "our contracts have been reviewed by our attorneys, and secondly another of their favorite line is "you signed the contracts." I am mobilizing other victims to come forth and file a lawsuit with Consumer Protection Bureau & with State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit.Review from Blake W

Norh Mills financed a piece of equipment for me some years ago.It was an okay experience before it became unceremoniously pretty bad.First the engine blew up(literally) then the transmission went out.The engine was actually 50k to replace with 5 months of down time.But honestly,they did work with me through these rough times. It kindly went down hill from this point forward. I was rear ended by 50k pound construction vehicle and needed back surgery (neck injections etc) I was out of work for a year and a half. My back has gotten worse ever since then. The equipment was voluntarily surrendered back to them (had to change my line of work because of my back) Needless to say,they sued me after they resold the equipment. They continued to try to collect $ even when I could barely walk let alone work! They've done diligent work in trying to get back at me.On my credit report there's a judgment against me from a company by the name of Aztec Financial llc out of Utah.Not sure who Aztec is but Aztec's listed phone # (on my credit report) rings North Mills office Do yourself a favor,stay far away from these guys.They will try to ruin your life with some of their practices if you ever have unexpected problems happen to you in your life.Review from Jacqueline R.

My husband purchased a big rig and got financed by North mill, but apparently ***** ***** was the approving finance company and my husband's credit was never reported to any of the credit bureaus. The lady mentioned they had stopped during covid, but nothings been reported even before covid. Now she's back peddling. The other issue was they force a 1yr warranty on you saying you have to purchase their warranty before getting the big rig. On top of telling my husband even if I wasn't getting the loan that I was told I had to sign the loan agreement. This company is making their own profit and the consumer didn't even get this to reflect his credit. So they got the credit for paying it off and my husband was ALWAYS on time.
