The nail salon is scamming customers. When you purchase a gift card for 100 dollars and go to use it. They deduct the amount to 94 dollars charging tax. Then they charge you additional tax on the service provided. When I try to explain that’s incorrect they become extremely anger and then block my phone. I have proof this has happened to me. Then they push you to pay with cash so no tax is added, that’s not right.

Hi, this is new Paris nail salon. (ID NUMBER IS ********)

Since we started our business in 2012, we have always tried to respect our guests and provide good service.

As a result, it maintains good ratings on ****** (4.9/5) and various customer review sites.

To be honest, I've never had an experience like this before.

Our client's complaint was that New Paris Nails had double charged the tax on her bill and kept part of the tax ourselves.

She came our salon on SEPTEMBER 6,  TUESDAY 4PM

She was charged the correct amount ($75 for spa pedicure with gel ) .

       - spa pedicure $55 with gel  $20 added

After  she gone, she started sent text message to our salon at 5:12Pm on the same day (September 6)

However, our client insisted that her bill was only $65 and that we were double charging her for tax(extra $10) which is incorrect.

We tried to communicate this in person  but she refused to listen and simply threatened (report, investigate,,) to call the BBB the entire time by only text message on the same day.

We want to make it clear that we never blocked our customer's number and asked multiple times for her to call us back so we can resolve the issue. We called ourselves multiple times and she never picked up. The message screenshots(I HAVE PROOF) included show that we reached out multiple times to try to fix this misunderstanding, but the client refused to acknowledge that we were simply charging our service fee with tax.

We would like to refute these accusations by providing the evidence. if you need  I can send to you included evidence shows the price of our services  and screenshots of the text message communication with our client on September  6.

We hope this is enough to help repudiate the client's claims. Thank you.
