When my partner and I bought our new house a few month ago, we got several documents in the mail stating they were important to fill out regarding our mortgage. The name is under ***** *****. Since we filled those documents out, we’ve received several harassing calls from one agents appointment setter. We’ve told him several times to leave us alone, and that we do not require his services. This appointment setter constantly changes numbers and calls us back every few weeks. We’ve told him we revoke his right to tele-market to us, and he keeps calling. I want Family First Life to remove our information from their system and to never contact us again.

Our sales process consists of agents that call individuals who have sent in some type of request for information on life insurance. We do not call any consumers that have not filled out some type of form.

I am rejecting this response because:

i have told the numerous agents that have called that my partner and I have resolved the issue regarding insurance, and requested that we no longer be contacted. The same agent and his appointment setter continue to harass us. If our contact information is not removed from your systems we will be filing a complaint with the FCC.

      Sincerely,

We do not encourage our agents to call clients that are not interested in the coverage. Can you provide a name and number of the alleged agent that you feel is committing this act?

I have been getting constant calls about insurance from spoofed phone numbers. Twice I engaged with these callers and then received a follow up call from Family First Life. Both times I notified them these calls were in violation of the TCPA and their telemarketers are not honoring the DNC, but since these happened almost a month apart, it's clear the have disregarded this. I'd like to know exactly who they are hiring to make these solicitation calls, and resolve these TCPA complaints.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

This is incorrect, and has been confirmed by their sales staff.  Twice Family First called me as a follow up from a previous call in which their agents used fake company names and spoofed phone numbers.  On the second call, they agent confirmed they use telemarketer to generate leads, and indicated he was aware they do this in violation of the TCPA.

I'd like all the information on their alleged consent to call, including the legal name and entity of the company they are paying for this information, and a valid consent showing that company's legal name and address and Family First's name.

      Sincerely,

We do not call individuals on the "do not call" list. Can this customer provide the name of the agent that is calling them so we can verify if they're even an agent with us?

I received a call from a Family First Life agent saying I was referred to Family First Life by their marketing agent. This marketing agent has called me multiples times for spoofed phone numbers, when my number is on the DNC list. They have done until I gave them my information, but did not consent to them calling me back. I am notifying Family First Life that their agent is violating the TCPA to market their services, and requesting Family First provide me the information of their marketing agent.

      Business response

      03/08/2022

The individual in this complaint stated that they shared their information with a marketing agent. That is how our agent received their information and gave them a call. We do not call anyone unless they request for us to do so.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Family First is ignoring the substance of the complaint, that their marketing partner is violating the law to obtain lead information.  Part of TCPA is a requirement that marketing companies identify themselves and provide a call back number when telemarketing.  Family First's telemarketers did not do this.  Family First is now affirming the illegal anonymity of their telemarketing agent.  If Family First continues to ratify this behavior, this ratification will be used in court as evidence of agency for these TCPA violations.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******
