The nature of this dispute is: This is a case of unfair collections. Mr. Barberino property manager for my HOA is sending unwarranted demands for payments by hiring various law firms in order to harass and intimidate the me, as a unit ownner. In particular, ever since I encountered a loss due to a faulty construction of the outside wall in my unit, he has been threatning me and putting me in collections. The documents presented to the law firms are bogus and so far I am out almost $2000 in legal fees. The basis that they are using to put us into collections are late fees, which were created artificially by not depositing our HOA checks on time and assessments that we were not notified about. This is a case of harassment by the property manager who is trying to retaliate for the claim we submitted. Mr. Barberino is abusing his power as a property manager and has to be fired. He is causing unrest and emotional havic. This is extortion and is illegal and has to stop.
