We developing leaking in our breezeway where the ceiling meets the wall. On 2/11/22 we had Best away Roofing come give us a quote. They told us that the roof over the breezeway and the garage needed to be replaced as well as the gutters. After the work was done (they were paid in full) the next time it rained the leak was still there. We called the company who sent out two guys who did not seem to understand our problem and smelled of alcohol. I explained the problem and showed them the leak. They said it was the gutter. Upon closer look our gutters were never replaced as they were supposed to be per our contract. The 2 men told me to contact the owner. After several attempts we reached the owner. Three times now we have set up to have they work done. The first time no one shower up, the second time they rescheduled because the scheduler never coordinated with the gutter specialist. They were supposed to come today and no one did. We called the company and the scheduler said that we were scheduled for tomorrow but they have to reschedule because of rain. I have tried to reach the owner and have had no response.Business response

Thank you for reaching out, we completed the work according to the contract on that slope.
They need to hire a company to replace the framing around the window, that is where the damage is, we informed them we do not specialize in that type of work.
The gutter and roof replacement were completed, the weather kept delaying our scehdule.

I am rejecting this response because:they never solved our original leak problem. I found the leak. The leak is not coming from the window it is coming from a cut out in the roof that the company never addressed. When I found the source of the leak I contacted the company owner with pictures. He said that he would come out to look at the roof and see if the source of the leak was something the company could fix. He never came and stopped responding to me. They did not replace all the flashing on the roof nor did they replace all the gutters per the contract. They only replaced the gutters on the front of the garage and not the back. They frequently missed appointments unrelated to weather. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and the lack of knowledge about roofs. They wanted to rip apart my walls from the inside to find the source of the leak. I climbed out on my roof and found it.
