I know others have complained about fraudulent activity and I have had the same issue happen with this website 5 different times. I spoke with my bank and noticed that my card was being used with ****** purchases shortly after making a purchase with allhungry**** ; this has happened more than 4 times within a 2-3 year period. I, like others who have complained, am convinced that they are engaging in fraudulent activities. They also make small ****** purchases and not sure how many others have checked their credit card transactions but I would be careful with this company. I contacted the co founder and some IT expert recommended that I check my phone for malware and viruses , etc. I did not respond but I actually just got a NEW phone a couple of months ago and I am 100 percent true that my phone had nothing to do with these fraudalent transactions. I hope they really investigate this company because it keeps happening to many other people.Initial Complaint

On Thursday, 12/7, I placed an online order through Allhungry.com, for a pizza from ****** ***** in Saratoga ******** ** (a pizza place that was located near the hotel where I was for a business trip in **** My credit card was immediately charged for $14.97 for the order. However, when I drove to pick up the pizza, I discovered that ****** ***** was no longer in business; the storefront was closed and the store was clearly abandoned. I immediately called Allhungry.com customer service to request a refund. They said they will check into it but refused to refund on the spot; an email was sent to me stating that their finance team will follow up. There was no follow up. I contacted their customer service again by email a week later requesting a refund. They replied that they were disabling orders for Empire Pizza, but they did NOT refund my original payment. I suspect the company is engaging in fraudulent behavior. I would like my original order money refunded.Business response

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
We initially misunderstood the original message from the customer and assumed that the order has already been refunded, and the resolution initially provided by our agents was to close the restaurant's online order options. However, upon reviewing the ticket, we have checked that the refund was not processed yet. So we did process the refund amounting to $14.97 on December 27, 2023 01:10PM to the original card used for the payment ***** ending in ****).
We also sent a refund confirmation to the customer's email address (*********************** and set expectation that the refund amount should be credited to their account in 5-7 business days. The refund should have arrived in the customer's account between January 2 - January 5.
We have attached all relevant screenshot of the ticket and the refund confirmation on this email.
Again, we apologize for the misunderstanding and the delay in processing the refund but we assure you the refund was already processed. We aim to give the best service to our customers and we thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

On December 1st I ******* for the menu of a local restaurant we frequently order from to see their menu. One of the first ****** entries was for AllHungry-LaVera pizza menu. I clicked on it and it showed LaVera’s menu and the ability to order right through that website. I placed a takeout delivery order but had a funny feeling about the transaction. I called LaVera and they never received an order from AllHungry. AllHungry charged my debit card $30. This is clearly a scam to get access to credit/debit card information. I am convinced it is a fraudulent organization. They should be investigated and closed downInitial Complaint

I placed an order through allhungry. My order did not go through but I my card was charged. There was no pending order in my account. I opened a chat request numerous of times and it says it was read but no one responds. I called the customer service number and all I get is hold music and no one answers. You don't even get an estimated hold time. I want my money back asap.Initial Complaint

I placed a delivery order with AllHungry. It was confirmed and I was given a 35 minute time. Two hours later, the order was still not delivered. I told AllHungry it was not received and to please cancel the order and refund the money. They claimed the business claimed it had been delivered (it had not) and refused to have anything more to do with it. They are a party to fraud.Customer response

Please note that, after a dozen exchanges, AllHungry claims I will get a refund. It seems this issue has been resolved.
