My husband and I are looking for a dog. We had interest in 2 dogs but the volunteer texted saying they both had euthanasia dates near the end of 10/24 and let her know what we think. We cannot travel to the dogs location in time so I texted back saying this with respect with apologies. Our boundaries were clear. I received 4 more texts with coercion blame guilt demanding we step up and indicating the dogs will leave the shelter dead. We are not responsible for this. A third dog we were also interested in per volunteer had already been euthanized and it was horrific. Two texts using the word horrific. The shelter website says they have a 90- 94 % no kill rate. All 3 dogs are still there as of today. 10/27/24. I called the shelter for info but it was already after hours. I will call them tomorrow. I have left 4 voice mails at rescue me headquarters in *************. We are being harassed . We are retired and vulnerable because we want a dog. I blocked the volunteers number but got a message on my watch - rescue alert. Do not do any interaction or business with this company. Also check them out on charity *************. No one asks or deserves thus just for inquiring about adopting dogs. Send then no money. They are predators. My husband and I have located other dogs at reputable brick and mortar shelters so we will be pursuing these dogs.

Refuse to stop soliciting donations. Never heard of them until they started emailing me almost daily. They avoid blocking by repeatedly making small changes in their email sending address when they discover they are blocked under one address. No legitimate charity changes email address to avoid blocking and refuses to honor an unsubscribe notice (even tho there never was a s subscription.)
