On 8/9/2022 I spoke with a representative who contacted me via telephone regarding an unresolved down payment that was past due that they were unable to retrieve automatically from my bank account's debit card. I apologized for the inconvenience due to an IRS bill I received for over $1200 that and that I didn't have the full amount. I made them aware I have $1000 left that I could pay that day and asked if they would allow me to pay the rest off every pay period. The payment was accept making the down payment total that I paid $1500 plus the trade in for my vehicle that was worth well over $5500 of which they also accepted. I told them I would make the next payment at the end of the month, 8/31/22, and the remaining bal. thereafter can be paid on Sept. 15, 2022 the guy said okay. On 8/23/2022 I received another phone call from ***** while I was working and I explained the same thing to him. ***** became irate and began yelling and interrupting me stating they don't have anything to do with what I owe the IRS and that it was my problem not theirs (Hertrich). He then proceeded to threaten that they were taking me to court and going to sue me for the $2100 bal. which made me very upset causing me to have anxiety attack and increased blood pressure because of his yelling and disrespectful tone. My co-worker was with me and witnessed the phone call. I told ***** that I will see them in court and I hung up on him. Today, 8/25/22. I get a letter dated 8/22 in the mail from the manager claiming to have made several attempts in contacting me which was a LIE I've only been contacted twice and answered each time AND that they will be taking me to court where I will have to pay all legal fees plus the balance owed. I have done business with them for 6 years and referred customers and this is the treatment I receive? I tried to work something out and yet they refused so I had no choice but to file a complaint with BBB.
