I used GetDivorcePapers.com and paid $350 to include the expedited services which was presented as for the divorce process no that was only shipping which was acknowledged after payment. They have not responded to my messages they do not file the paperwork although the website suggests that they assist with the entire process . I feel I was scammed out of $350 dollars as it seems all they do is paperwork and ignore you. I have tried email, contacting them thru their website and no response . I requested a refund and they have to review my request and change another $45 for a refund. How is this busy still operating?Initial Complaint

They were paid on Friday, April 12th; the paperwork was returned for revision. We received the second revision and went through with the notarization of the documents. After notarizing, I noticed that the wrong county was placed on the way to the courthouse to file. It reads "Webster" when it should have been "Saint Louis". After the frustration with this company, we decided it was in our best interest to continue business elsewhere. They refused to refund the money, even though we spent money getting the documents notarized, which is completely unusable. The email correspondence was unprofessional, and I would not recommend them to anyone.Business response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. This was one of the most unprofessional responses I have ever received from a company. If they would have been courteous and offered an acceptable solution then I would have been inclined to work with them. But the complete disrespect that was shown through their limited sentences per email is unacceptable. On May 2023 I paid money to the company and company says that it has 100% money guarantee. Same story as everyone here has. They took my money and the next day I cancelled the service. And guess what, they never returned the money. And I have been submitting tickets. And I have been emailing and calling And no response. Noone is available over the phone either. No one. And they just ignore you. Noone can solve this problem? They can just take your money? And I see many people like me. YesBusiness response

The site stated that I was approved for an annulment after entering my info and stated the price of $159. After entering my card info along with additional info, they notify me that my case needs additional review. To expedite the process it would be an extra $110. I was not about to move forward unless I clicked on the link. Link did not state that I was agreeing to the $110 charge. I clicked the link and the next screen tells me that I approved the $110 charge to expedite the processing. I checked my bank account and the company had already charged my card the initial $159 asking with the $110. I wake up the next morning to an email stating they charged my card an additional $39 for printing and shipping of the documents. Later that day I receive another email stating 3 copies are required and they need an additional $79 for 2 more copies. At this point no services have been rendered and I have asked multiple times for a refund. They have refunded the $39 copy and ship fee. I am still out of pocket $159 plus $110. They notified me that they will not offer me a refund.Initial Complaint

On 5/19 I went to the website get divorce papers.com to get divorce papers. I filled out a lengthy survey, then paid $178.99 for the paperwork, 89.00 for an online class to get sole custody of my daughter, 39.99 for expedited shipping and 99.00 for processing. I didn’t receive my documents so I called them on 5/30. I was told I had to approve my documents before they would be shipped. I did that and was told 3-5 business days. I didn’t receive anything then was billed 49.99 on 6/19 for a subscription I didn’t authorize. I disputed the 49.99 with my bank but not the 406.98 because I was still expecting the documents. I didn’t receive anything. I called them again in June and now again in July. I received no answers either by phone, email or chat though I’ve left several messages. When I try to login to their website now it says my account has been closed and I’m no longer a client due to a chargeback (which was only for the “subscription”) now I can’t get an answer from anyone about anything from this business.
