We hired Paradise and were told pay $6,000.00 at hiring and the other $6000.00 when job was finished. The Shingles were delivered on our roof November20 and laid there until December 27 when the crew taking off the old roof moved them around. The crew left and no one returned to work until January 3. Wr called to ask where the roofers were and got a voicemail full message one call. Another call and we were told they would have someone return our call. No one did. Another call and we were told someone would be there after lunch. No one came. When shingles were laid, they did not lay flat because of laying on the roof so long over peaks. The roof was finally finished and we stopped in today (January 5th) to pay and were told to wait for an invoice as paperwork wasn't in yet from the crew. I am worried that the invoice will be more than $6000.00 as I feel they have been less than honest in their treatment of us as a customer.Business response

We do want to take the time and apologize for the concern of Mr. ***** ****************** During November 20th and Dec 27th we had a bunch of calls come in from hurricane damage and had to take care of them. The ******** roof was not damaged from the hurricane. As far as the voice mails, We do have an outside agency that answers calls when we are on the phone or not in the office. If we receive the messages we do return the calls a.s.a.p. When **************** did stop in to pay his bill we have not received our bill from the installers. We had to wait on their bill to make sure there was not anything added to the roof. Under the contract we automatically add in 2 sheets of plywood, If it goes over that we bill the customer. That is in the contract. Once we got the bill from the installers we were able to give him a final bill. He did not have any extra for his billing. We gave him a contract for $12,800.00 He said he had another offer for $********* we met that offer to make the customer happy. We strive for customer service. We know the timing was bad but due to mother nature we had to take care of customers with emergency's 1st. We are sorry if they do not understand. Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2022/06/07) */ Contact Name and Title: Oralee / Controller Contact Phone: 863-537-7129 Contact Email: oralee@paradisegeneralcontracting.com From the Superintendent Jeremy Jeremy informed the customer that the roof needed to be replaced not repaired and he stated that he wanted to make it through the storm saying if the hurricane destroyed the roof he would file a claim with the insurance company. Jeremy told him no warranty with the repair because of the age of the roof. He got a worse leak after the 1st repair and Jeremy went out himself and fixed the leak and it started leaking elsewhere and he called Jeremy back and Jeremy informed him it is not under warranty and he needs a new roof.
