I deny any liability for the debt attributed to ************************* **** Additionally, I have no contractual agreement with Snap Debt Recovery. Despite my request, they failed to furnish the original contract containing my accurate information such as my address and social security number.

      Business response

      03/29/2024

Attached are the documents supporting the $4,750.00 debt owed to our client, ************************ - which includes the Promissory Note you signed. These items were previously provided to you despite you ignoring all communcations providing you an opportunity to amicably resolve the debt you owe. Given your refusal to do so, our client has instructed us to proceed accordingly.

      Business response

      Complaint: 21496441

I am rejecting this response because: The attachments provided fail to establish that this debt belongs to me. If my information was stolen, these papers merely demonstrate that someone fraudulently acted under my name. I am wrongly accused of possessing something I had no part in. Neither of the attachments contains evidence linking me to the debt, as they solely consist of a ledger unrelated to me. It's glaringly evident that the inclusion of the company "Vizva" in the ledger makes absolutely no sense, casting serious doubt on the legitimacy of their involvement in this matter. Furthermore, I do not observe any agreement bearing my signature and my  accurate personal information. It is imperative to expunge this collection from my record, as there exists no valid contractual agreement between myself and Snap Debt Recovery. I bear no responsibility for this debt.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

      Customer response

      03/29/2024

I firmly reject the validity of the promissory note provided, as the accompanying agreement contains an inaccurate Social Security Number that I do not recognize as my own. This discrepancy strongly suggests identity theft, as the agreement lacks my signature and fails to accurately reflect my legal identity as **** *********************. It appears there has been a misunderstanding, as the provided SSN and name do not align with my personal information. I've included the promissory note from Snap Debt Recovery, emphasizing the erroneous Social Security Number and other discrepancies that do not align with my personal details, including my name and SSN. I strongly refute any connection to this debt.

      Business response

      04/02/2024

We'll mark the file as "disputed". If the consumer provided an invalid SSN at the time he executed the Promissory Note, it highlights a possible attempt to defraud the current and original creditor, Silverspace Tech. We have attached another signed contract between the parties whereby **** appears to have provided yet another diferent, invalid SSN. The consumer is welcome to call our office at ************ if he wishes to resolve the debt.

      Complaint: 21496441

I am rejecting this response because: I do not own the two promissory notes that Snap Debt has attached. They are void because I do not own either of the specified social security numbers. It's fraud and an attempt to jeopardize my identification. Before signing the second agreement, the creditor should have made sure it was authentic and taken appropriate action if the social security number on the first one did not match that on the second. I have not signed this agreement and I deny any affiliation with this SSN. I ask BBB to intervene since the creditor's failure to verify this information on the agreement is incorrect and evidence of their ignorance. Without any evidence, I firmly believe this to be a hoax.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

Snap recovery called me telling me I owe a judgment and I told them I do not have the means to pay and the representative told me was badgering me and patronizing me and insulting me . She said and I quote " your 36 years old and you don't have a job " . I told her you don't know my personal situation and she continues to insult me. I will be pursuing legal counsel . Their job is to collect not to belittle anyone.

The consumer's complaint is pure fabrication. All communication with her resfusing to satisfy the court order is well documented. If she does not wish to resolve amicably, we are happy to discontinue offering her an opportunity to do so. We will notify the creditor and proceed per their instructions. Attached is a copy of the outstanding Judgment.

      I reject this message,

the paperwork provided is not proof of me applying for anything if my information was stolen, the only thing this proves is that someone did this fraudulent under my name and I am being accused of owning something that I did not do. This is not the only thing that I am dealing with pertaining to someone using my information and I am currently dealing with other things to get all of this mess cleared up. I am telling you that this was not me and I should me be accountable for someone doing fraudulent things under my name.

I got a text from snap recovery saying, this is Snap Recovery. It is important that you call me back regarding a serious issue between yourself and my client. Prior to this case being escalated, return my call at 888-407-7627. When calling reference case number # ****** Ok. The balance is scheduled to begin reporting to ************* guess you'll know it's not fake once it does and you can wait until then. We were calling to give you an opportunity to resolve this prior to that. 888-407-762. So how would they know if they have the right person, they would have released a social security number to someone random, and would have caused damage for the social security number that was released.

Hi **** - your former employer ************** ********* ****** filed a claim with our office. You owe them $4,338.85 for use of the company credit credit. Business response

      12/08/2023

We are rejecting your response as it is false. Our office reviewed the SMS Logs and your SSN was not "given out - neither in full, nor in part. Refusal to pay the debt you owe may result in the claim negatively impacting your credit score for up to 7 years, as permitted by law. We consider this frivolous complaint resolved as it has been investigated and found Mr. Duggan's allegation to be patently false. Should you become ready to pay the debt you owe, please contact our office.

Although I explained, from the very first email, that the "debt" in question was FALSE and INVALID, I received over 10 emails and numerous calls regarding a debt claim. After I was told, by the person who attempted to collect on the "debt" in question, that he no longer wished to pursue the claim, I asked Snap Debt Recovery, to confirm and to respond to a few questions., they refused to help resolve the situation in ANY way, shape or form.I asked ONLY for the following information, as I wanted to confirm that my SON was not included in this situation. Specifically, I only requested that they respond to was the following:!) That the debt in question has been dismissed.2) The date you were first contacted by *********3) What led you to believe that the debt in question was legitimate? What did he tell you? Have you purchased debt from him prior to my case?4) Were you the first debt collection agency to contract with ****, or was the debt purchased in a "package" along with other debts?5) Is Snap in ANY way connected to ****, another collection firm?6) Did **** include my SON, *******, my son, in this attempt to collect? Has he been receiving notices as well? 7) Should you be asked by the State Bar of California for information regarding this matter, you'll share whatever you can and will assist in any way possible.I spoke with their General ******** Mr. ********************** and he explained that "I had the right to report the company to the *** and the BBB.
