I was Contacted by *********************. I agreed to a $600 add in THE GOLFER**;S DIGEST OF *********** that is delivered to local country clubs in the *********** area. I was charge multiple times for adds in ********* ** which is way out of my territory. The total charges were $3,800. They refunded me $600 once. After **** admitted to making a mistake, they ask if they could refund the $3,200 over a period of several months. I agreed to that and was refunded 1 time. I made multiple attempts to reach **** again and even requested to speak with the manager at the company. Now they won't even answer the phones. They made a mistake and admitted to it. Then committed to repay and they have not followed through.Business response

We are very sorry that you are upset but these transaction were all over a year ago and all of the ads ran in the directories last year. At this point it is not possible to refund the money since the ads have already ran.

I am rejecting this response because: 6 Months ago, i spoke with ********************* and He state that I would receive a refund in the amount of $3200. I received a payment of $600 and nothing else. He stated, "Can you let us refund you the amount over the coming months as this is how you were billed." I said that would be ok and expected to receive monthly payments until the amount was done. You can't just say this was a year ago and we are not going to do anything about it as you have already agreed to Pay the amount over billed by you.

It was not 6 months ago the refund you received was on 2/9/23 a year ago for charges that occurred in 2022. Its now February of **** and all of the ads have been run that you paid for... if you expected additional refunds you should have contacted us prior to all of the ads being run. We can not refund the money over a year later. We will be happy to give you free ads in the upcoming directories in your area for the next year.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I attempted to call many times. I called your main office several times. I spoke to a man who took my information and he stated he would have a manager call me. This never happened. Every time I call now i get no answer, The fact of the matter is your company stated I would receive a refund. This never happened. I have called over 2 dozen times with no response from VM or from the receptionist. This obviously isn't news to you, you just don't want to give me a refund even though you said you would. I have been patient and now I have the BBB involved. I did not want to take this step, but it's the only way to get a response. This was your company's mistake. It is irrelevant if the adds ran, as I did not approve them. You advertised me in *********, which is an hour away from me. I would have never requested to be printed there.

Premier Publishing had offered me a deal that for $700 they would provide me with the publication of my children's book, Send in the Cat. The package would include 7 illustrations, a cover, and necessary editing. Being a new author, and not a business woman as well as being on disability, this had looked like a great deal. So, I sent them the $300 down, paid by credit card on the phone. I later learned that for a children's book to *************, it needed illustrations on every page. I had at least 16 pages of text. ***************************, my consultant, told me that, sure, they could add the additional illustrations but for a cost of $110 a pop! Furthermore, the money would be required upfront. I, at this point, determined that the company was likely a scam, number one. And, that, number two, self-publishing is not financially feasible for me. I communicated this to them and asked for a refund. They have texted me 25 and called me 25X in an effort to keep me on as an author for them. I have told them no. I want my $300 back and for the harassment to stop.Business response

You obviously have the wrong company because we don't publish ************* and we have never done business with this person. All we publish is our own magazines.

This complaint has nothing to do with our company and should not be posted as if it is.... We are NOT the company that she was dealing with and we do not do this type of work so this complaint should not be posted about our company. Please verify that this complaint is being removed. We do not publish books for anyone....

I paid to have advertising for my company, which was never advertised as the agreement. It was not done in the time frame, nor the format that was agreed upon. I have been trying to resove this for 2 years. They keep prominsing to fix the problem and never have done so.. They have never responded back to my messages and calls, they have not corrected any of the issues. The promise the moon and dont even provde anything but empty promises and a big waste of my time and money. I am VERY DISSAPPOINTED in this company and STRONGLY ADVISE ALL OTHERS TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING IN RETURN. Their customer service is deporable. When i mentioned to the last person i spoke to that **** said..... he actually said yeah ,,,, that didnt surprise him, But t that person, **** said he would get back to me later that day and i have NEVER received a call back!!! i dont have the time to spend trying to continue to resolve this matter...my closing comments!!1 DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!Business response

We are very sorry that ***** is upset but we did build her ad and attached is her email approval of that ad dated July 19,2021as proof. It was not 2 years ago as she states. It obviously looks as though she was happy with that process and stated "Great Lets Use it!" We then published the book and distributed it as agreed and attached is a Scan of the Cover as well as the location of the Ad we made for her located on page 39. The Ad looks great! I'm sure you will agree. What happened since was we tried to call her to see if she wanted to advertise again this next year and she became very upset and started insisting on a refund for last year. We attempted to call her back but she is irate. We did fulfill our obligations and no refund can be provided. We will offer her a free ad in next years book if she would like that... We hope this gives some clarification to what really happened. Again we are sorry she is upset and don't like it when our customers are unhappy. We service thousands of customers a year and many of them have been customers for years.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I dont agree that they fulfilled the agreed upon details of the ad. I was very excited to be able to advertsie with them initially but it did not run as they promised, I understood they said they were short staffed and that was the reason for it not coming out in the time frame i desired. I was very disappointed when it was in the magaizine in the wrong spot from promised and that i was not the only insurance advertisment that was promised to be in the magazine also. I am very disappointed and just dont want anyone else to have hopes of advertising and them having their word not come true for them also. It has been a waste of my money, time and honestly sad to see how they didnt make it right with me. Promising more and more of the same I found to be very irritating. Not returning my many calls for months and then the moment i made this complaint with the BBB they immediately called the next morning. That made me angry that they can call back when it is to their benefit. I will just never do business with them again.

We have returned your calls every time we received a message. We are sorry that you are upset and are willing to give you a free ad in next years publication. We built your ad got you which you approved and printed the publication as agreed. We were calling you to offer you a renewal for next years ad and had no idea you were not satisfied. We can not give you a refund for services that have already been provided. Hopefully this will resolve the matter and you will get a free ad.
