On March 17'th 2023 I dispatched a vehicle transport thru Truthful/****** from ********** to ******* **. as i had done several times before. To be delivered no later that 3/21. The load never arrived. Days later I'm given a # to call for ANOTHER company that i know nothing about to contact them about my missing car. Days go by. silence. Finally ****** contacts me telling me my car was in an impound yard on the opposite coast of ******* from pick up, It ends up being totaled from a trailer accident being towed by an improperly insured truck with an inexperienced driver using another companies DOT Authority with an improperly insured trailer and cargo type that is not being insured by ANYONES insurance and Truthful is ghosting me after refusing to file claim/supply me with THEIR broker insurance. If they even have it. My car is totaled (according to pictures and the non liable ins companies): Being held in an unknown location, and i am left with NOTHING. I need Truthful to accept Liabiliity for the brokering of this load and to properly file a claim against their insurance policy if they even have one.Business response

***** contacted me to ship a car for him in which I contracted a drivre to lod it. The driver was in a car accident on his way after he picked up *****'s car. The carrier is insured by Progressive commerecial insurwance and the claim is bing processeced and investigated at the current moment. I never even made a ***** of the shipment and have been in constant ommunication with ***** by text message and phone calls regarding the claim. I even sent 2 more drivers to where the car was being stored to load it for him but the car is in suh poor condition they were not able to load it so we are waiting for insurance to resolve the case and issue payment for his loss. These circumstances are rare and out of our control but insurance is guaranteeing a pay out for his loss.Customer response

To date, a full 60 plus days after the accident NO CLAIM HAS BEEN PAID! The PERSON that she dispatched the car to without my knowledge or permission WAS UNDERINSURED and they are NOT paying the claim. As a matter of fact the company she dispatched actually RE-DISPATCHED the load to the Underinsured driver and THAT brokers insurance is the Progressive claim that she talks about that has sent me a Letter of Denial because they are not insured "for hire"!!! To date Truthful Transport has NOT responded to certified mail as per ******* Statute with THEIR insurance information. Truthful Transport is the transporter that I retained to move my now totaled abandoned 'uninsured by any transporter' involved vehicle. I am fully convinced that this company does not even HAVE insurance as they staunchly refuse to provide that information to me! They were the transporter that I retained. I should at least have the option of discussing a claim with their carrier if they even have one. My understanding is that ************* commissioner and DOT authorities are not required to determine what TYPE of coverage that a carrier has, Just that they DO have SOME TYPE of coverage. There is a veritable EPIDEMIC of underinsured Private carriers hauling goods around the country that are not "properly" insured and the consumer gets left holding the bag... ****** and **** have been "communicative" but have offered NO solutions to my catastrophic loss... Thank you...
