    I am writing to formally file a complaint against Boynton School of Dance, My daughter, Reign, and I have recently encountered multiple instances of what I believe to be discriminatory and unprofessional behavior from this business, and I would like to bring these serious concerns to your ************ background, my daughter, who is autistic, has been enrolled in piano lessons at Boynton School of Dance. While her piano teacher has been nothing short of amazing, our experiences with the front desk staff have been deeply troubling. On multiple occasions, I have walked into the school and been completely ignored by the front desk staff, who do not greet or acknowledge me or my daughter, despite welcoming others who enter at the same time. This has happened at least three times, and it has made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in an environment that should be inclusive and supportive of all families.Whats even more concerning is how the business responded to my efforts to address these issues. I left a ****** review detailing my concerns about the dismissiveness and lack of courtesy we experienced, as well as the racial undertones in the way we were treated. Instead of contacting me to resolve the situation, the school chose to close my daughters account and send me an email stating that they are no longer comfortable doing business with us due to my review. In this email, they also stated that any insinuation of racism is not tolerated, which completely dismisses the very real issues I raised. I find this response to be deeply troubling and indicative of a lack of accountability within the business.I believe that Boynton School of Dance's actions are both unprofessional and discriminatory. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect, and my concerns should have been addressed in a meaningful and constructive way. Instead, I was met with defensive behavior and further exclusion.

    Thank you for reaching out to me about the BBB review from the consumer Stevenir ******.  I would like to dispute this review with the BBB.  Stevenirs daughter started with our school in 2023.  She took ******s both in Ballet/Tap and Hip Hop for seven months.  She then enrolled her daughter in our **************** for private ******s.  Her daughter has been taking private music ******s for the past 5 weeks.  Mom withdrew her child in Ballet/Tap and Hip Hop at different times and in every student file we keep the families comments on why they withdrew from a class to help in training purposes.  Mom stated she loved the class but wanted to invest in Music Lessons.  Mom has been treated as we do everyone at our school with the highest level of customer service for any request and in emails with our front desk and text with our front desk there is no evidence to show any difference.  Not one time has this mom come to the front desk, my school operations director or myself to express anything negative about our school.  On Tuesday, October 22nd, we had music recitals.  Mom had stated to the childs teacher and our front desk previously that she did not want her child to participate in recitals.  Our policy is that recitals are in place of the childs ****** and that is stated everywhere in writing.  Mom wanted a separate ****** in place of taking a recital and we went against our policy and organized this for the family.  While the child was in the ******, mom sat on our bench and wrote a very derogatory review on ****** about the business stating very untruthful comments about the business such as racism and discrimination.   There was a concerning level to us on this behavior.  Once we looked more into this, we found that this particular parent had an alarming amount of negative reviews around town with reputable companies also stating racial concerns. Once our management team responded to her review with professionalism, she opened a new ****** name and posted another comment with the same allegations.  This was incredibly alarming to the business.  We had expressed professionally in writing that we were disheartened that we did not line up with what she was looking for and due to the allegations, we were no longer comfortable to do business together. Due to the concerning depth of this behavior, we kindly emailed the family that we will be terminating the student file.  As a courtesy, even though the family had already had four ******s for October, we refunded the family for the entire month of October.  She then began to have several friends and family members write reviews that we had never even met before and it became a concerning harassment issue.   As a business owner, especially working with children, it is important to me to only allow families who do not draw a concern for safety and security for the business.  Once that email was sent, ****** reviews were coming in all day from strangers with one star reviews stating they are supporting their "niece" or "friend" etc and harassed and defamed our business for the entire day.  ****** does not allow the reviews to be shut off however they did catch the concern and started to take off many of the reviews the same day.  A few are still pending review.  She also started on our social media pages and we had to shut down comments and reviews due to ongoing attempts of her harassment.  She created a very busy day of focusing on protecting the business from this one person.  It seems to be that she is not finished and has now reached out to BBB to continue with her defaming.  We never mind reviews that help us grow as a team however, like ******, we are not comfortable with allowing reviews with hate, discrimination and racism.  We do hope that as she did with ******, ******** and Instagram yesterday that if BBB starts receiving calls/emails today with these allegations that it will be reviewed for what it is and removed, monitored and stopped.  We hope with her comments to BBB you will find her "review" to be the same concern that ****** quickly found along with her multiple names and friends/family and remove it from the file.  We feel strong that our business made the right decision to terminate the student file to protect our school and families moving forward.  If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
