******************** wanted the store manager to promise to warranty her battery over the phone and come out to her house and install the battery for her. We charged her battery for her 8 months before this last incident with the results of Low charge on the battery, and the battery tested good. It lasted for 8 more months before something else occurred to drain the battery down. The store manager explained to her several times that it could very well be a bad battery, but she would need to bring it to the store in order for us to test and possibly charge it, but she kept refusing. If she brings the battery in the store, we would be more than happy to test it to determine if we can warranty it for her.

I am not satisfied with the response from Batteries Plus it was only 2 months that I had trouble with the battery again I have witness to that
I explained that I was an 85-year-old lady I live on my own, that had just gone through surgery for breast cancer and 20 sessions of radiation.
And that I needed my car at all times for doctor's appointments ,also to get my groceries I couldn't afford to leave it again in the store for another 4 hours while they checked it ***** the manager was very rude to me and my witness.
As you can see I purchased a battery on that very same day by the receipt above
Not only was it guaranteed for 3 years it was also cheaper than the one I bought from Battery Plus which was $187 and only guaranteed for one year.
They definitely told me the first time I had problems that if I was going to get problems again they would change the battery but they didn't.
On the Monday I went into the store I saw a different gentleman who actually was quite pleasant he told me he was a new manager from a different store and he said that they should have replaced the batteryBusiness response

Again, we are more than happy to go through the warranty process as we have explained multiple times. The process is that she has to bring the battery in to be charged and tested. If it tests bad, we replace the battery. We've never refused to warranty the battery.....She has refused to follow the process.Initial Complaint

We bought a battery from Batteries Plus on 4th Street with a three year warrantee around December 5, 2019 using a personal credit card My car wouldn't start recently so I got a jump and went there. They said the battery was fine and that it must be my alternator. Took the car to our mechanic. It was the battery! Bought a new one there and went back to Batteries Plus. Now they say because for some reason the purchase came up under Living Room Yoga the warrantee is only for 18 months not three years. We used my wife's phone number which is also used for business so the business name came up for the purchase. This happened automatically because the email says *********@livingroomyoga.biz which is a nonexistent email. We would have even been happy with another battery to have as a back up but all he offered was to let us buy yet another battery and just pay the price difference of $80. What a racket! This company should honor its warrantee! We can prove it was bought with a personal card!Business response

I went into the store and left them my phone to put a battery in it. They put a battery in and it worked for about a day or two then died. I returned the phone to them after a couple days, and left it with them, They kept the phone for a couple days before they told me they could not fix the phone. They told me to come into the store and get a full refund. I misplaced the receipt and just found it. Now the owner says he will only give half of my money back. I want my electronics to still work after a battery is installed. Also if the battery that is sold to me did not work and it was returned . I should get a refund. They have not provided any service for me. The battery they put in my phone didn't last more than a couple days. I returned the battery and they still have it. In short they broke my phone and will not return my money to me. They have the battery and the phone. I have not gotten any service for the money I spent.Business response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/01/18) */ I disputed the charges with my bank and the bank credited my account. I received no service from this company, just a broken phone and battery, and they kept both. I had to go out and buy a new phone. No one from the company ever called me or tried to resolve the issue in any way. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/01/27) */ Mr. ****** had a repair done on his Motorola Z3 on 06/18/2021. This order was completed at 6:05 pm on 06/18/2021. Mr. ****** took the phone at that time. We received a call from Mr. ****** on September 13th, 2021 at 5:49 pm. The call is recorded. Mr ****** was informed we have a 2 week return policy (See attached receipt Mr. ****** Received on 06/18/2021). We offered a warranty since it was past the two weeks which was refused. We have a check in process for all phones brought into our store. And all check ins are signed on release of phones to customers. This release states product was working at time of release. Signed by the customer. This claim was also disputed to the bank for the charged amount in which the Bank for Batteries Plus found in our favor. We would be happy to warranty the battery but since its past 14 days we cannot refund the money. Consumer Response /* (4200, 16, 2022/01/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The phone was returned with in 2 days of picking it up from the store. They had the phone for 5 days before they advised that they could not fix the phone. I was told they would refund my money for the battery. I lost the receipt, and when I found the receipt the owner changed his mind. I would like to hear the voice recording. I remember the phone calls and they completely contradict his statement. There were 3 phone calls.1 at 04:01pm, 04:12pm and 05:02pm. I suggest the owner to listen to all three phone calls. If he cannot find the recordings I will try and find them. I believe my phone records calls. Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2022/02/01) */ See attached documentation showing Batteries Plus won the bank account transaction. On OCt. 24th, 2021 Bank of America stated the transaction had been reversed in my favor. Also on Oct. 25th, 2021 we received a credit from Bank of America for the transaction amount of 74.89. All documents are attached for proof of transaction. Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2022/02/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The bank initially sided with batteries plus, but I disputed the debit and clarified what had happened and the bank reversed the debit and credited my account. You can see the attached bank statement crediting my account. The owner had nothing to do with the transaction, and did not come to the phone to speak with me. If he did come to the phone and spoke with me he would know the whole story. Business Response /* (4000, 22, 2022/02/08) */ Customers rebuttal was shown as October 22nd, 2021. Our paperwork shows reversal on October 24th, 2021. this claim is invalid. Consumer Response /* (4200, 24, 2022/02/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Batteries plus submitted paperwork from the bank on the decision as of 10/24/2021. I had contacted the bank and gave them the correct version of what had transpired. The bank sided with me and made the credit to my account permanent as of 11/22/2021. You can look at the paperwork and see that the bank sided with me. I will once again describe What happened. I have not gotten any service for the money I spent. They said they would refund me my money spent, but they never mentioned a time frame.
