      After hurricane ******, a branch fell on our power line and broke the *********** in ***********, **. Mr ********************** quoted the "MUST DO BASIC" at $5222. This was on a Sunday when other electric companies were extremely busy or closed. Mr ********************** was absolutely price gauging and taking advantage of the limited availability of other electric companies during the hurricane. We received another quote the following day for $1100. How can they justify this type of business practice???

      Our small, 684sqft mobile home, was flooded due to hurricane Helene. Due to the incursion of water it blew out the breakers below the power meter. We called Mr. Sparky for an estimate on fixing the issue. They came back with an estimate to rewire the entire 684sqft mobile to a tune of nearly $30,000. Unbelievable. We felt that this amount, for such a small place, was way out of line. We felt that they were taking advantage of the situation and were price gauging.

      So many things have gone wrong.First money request: I had to pay them over $4K upfront before the work began.I should never have been upsold to the *** breakers as my house was built in the 1970s. The technician had to replace some of the *** breakers with traditional ones just to keep them from tripping. And yet, as I write this, two of my kitchen outlets, which used to work no longer function.I sent Mister Sparky photos of the damage to the outside of my house. There is a gaping hole created to accommodate a larger box. No response from Mister Sparky. I was promised I could have the lighting changed in my bathrooms. However, the technician could not change the lighting without making multiple holes in my bathroom walls/ceiling. The same guy who ******-hammered the outside of my house without telling me about the damage? No, thanks!Second money request: After the technician completed the outside work, I had to write Mister Sparky another check for over $6K. Third money request: After having paid over $11K, the technician said he needed me to pay more or he would not get paid. Nonsense! I said no, not until the work had been completed. They left and never came back to complete the job. I feel as though I have been taken advantage of because I don't understand electrical repair and because I am a widowed senior citizen. Everyone told me I overpaid greatly and was being taken to the cleaners. I was willing to pay all this money because I thought things would be repaired/replaced, once and for all, by professionals. Doing business with Mister Sparky has been very regretful. The ***** Orlando Managers (plural) have done nothing to remedy the situation and my permit has expired, which means I cannot sell my house with an outstanding permit. They sent a cursory email acting like they wanted to resolve my issues but never followed up with my requests. You have our number. No wonder they have an F rating with the *********************** NOT do business with this company!

      first of all they over charged for their work, mr ***** told me that i would be getting my power within a week, it now three week and they keep giving me the run around, i pay over 12 thousand dollars and to be treated like this. i will never recommend their company to anyone and i sorry the day i ever met them, if they never lie to me about getting the power in a week i would not have done any business with them, i asked them about three times if they sure that i was going to get the power on and he said yes, he even got on the phone with his boss who confirm that i was going to get the power in that time frame, you already made your money and now i cant made my money, you setting me back big time and that is not nice, i just realized it a pattern after reading all those review.

      Mr Sparky service man was going to charge 1,400.00 for a problem that a real electrician fixed the problem and charged $0. My advice is to get a second opinion before paying Mr Sparky!!

      Our house was struck by lightning on September 13, 2023, causing half of our house to lose power. We called Mr. ********************** to come do an inspection and although we weren't 100% satisfied that they sent a sales man or and didn't do a full inspection we decided to schedule repairs with them in hopes that the technician would do a full inspection for damage; to which they did not. Not only did they not do a full inspection they removed an outlet on the exterior of our home for no reason (which they came back out to replace after about 5 emails with the branch mang) but they also removed all damaged items we needed for our insurance claim to be accepted. I have been emailing for nearly 8 months with ***** trying to find a solution as it's costing us over $4000 out of pocket and today he comes back with he can't help me. UNACCEPTABLE!! Your technician removed the items causing my insurance claim to be denied! Mr. ********************** will be hearing from our attorneys very soon!
