Paid for a working website and they did not provide and would not issue a refund. I had to pay a new company to start over from scratch since the one Rohring Results built was completely unusable.

This past client kept changing her scope and not providing feedback for weeks, delaying the project and creating issues in ** building it all out. We continued developing her website, but she got really upset when she wanted the ability to "gift" memberships and the plugin couldn't. The one she needed was an additional $400, and we finally stopped the bleeding of cost and didn't offer to do it for her at no additional cost.

As you can read in the communications, we provided WELL above her proposal and even offered to continue to support her in a positive transition. We just couldn't afford to continue providing services with her and lose money. Her toxic personality, which has been shown in her ****** Review and reaching out to businesses who we are suing to encourage them to change their review/leave bad reviews and threaten us to try and force us to give a refund for work already done, is why we had to let her go. We only ever charged her for 1 month of hosting/maintenance when we provided several months while she found a new developer (which she never did transfer it). We were never going to be able to provide enough for her, and she would have continued to increase her deliverables without any additional compensation. We had so many suits filed at once because we finally stood up to the past clients who took services and then refused to pay for them.

Our business runs with high integrity. We donate 8 websites a year to nonprofits, are on the leadership of our district for Rotary, are involved in MANY nonprofits, and provide many donated deliverables to small businesses (like hers) all the time to try and help build up new entrepreneurs. She was upset when she couldn't bully us into a refund through emails or ****** Reviews, so now we are here.

I will be happy to answer any questions or provide any other supporting documents as we didn't do anything wrong and, at this point, are considering a defamation of character suit as she is actively attacking with no rational reason.

I am rejecting this response because the company did not provide a functional website as per the agreement. All additional services provided for "free" were to detract from the fact that they were unqualified to complete the project. They unethically kept my money while cutting business ties with me and leaving me with a flawed website filled with so many flaws I had to pay a new developer to rebuild from scratch.

      Sincerely,

      Hi ******,

First, it was a fully functional website just not to the new scope that you presented in all of those additional meetings, the only thing it needed was payment integrated upon launch. When ****** continuously increases the scope without any additional funds, we as a company cannot continue to provide free labor and in a past email we even offered to finish out a few final requests at no additional charge and provide free consulting to any new developer to make sure the transition went smoothly, while we continued hosting the site for several months for free. The things we did for free were mainly done in the beginning of the relationship as a nicety because we wanted to see ****** succeed and knew her budget was much smaller than any "business" taking on this initiative. We have done many websites much larger than her project without a problem. Feel free to request a list.

For your reference, we attached the original signed proposal so you can see that we did our job.

What made the decision for our company to cut ties was the last scope change asking for gift card integration, which was never discussed just before launch. We looked at the plugin she chose (In the original scope that we built the whole website structure around) and it did not offer that functionality, so we did further research and found another plugin that would integrate with all other plugins on her development, however it was an additional $400 just for the plugin, not including development. As stated before our company grossly undercharged for this project thinking we were helping a small business in our community create something exciting and then looked back and realized how much additional work has already been done over the scope. ****** was never going to be happy with anything we did or have a final scope ready for deployment, which is why she never responded to us for weeks we were trying to be collaborative with her new developer on the transition out.

We believe ****** is a bully who is trying to use your platform and ****** Business reviews (Attached previously) to force an unethical refund after we had countless hours of over scope development because of her lack of business skills and understanding of what she wanted to do. This was shown countless times as our "free" consulting for her social media page couldn't even grow because of her lack of commitment to the campaign goals. To put in perspective, our social media manager who has a high level of ability to build viral communities and works with big corporations such as *********************, Sports illustrated, Men's Health, etc. gave her step-by-step instructions within the Zoom calls to show her how to reach the goal of ***** members in the group. He has many case studies behind the unique strategies given to ******, however, she never followed through. It was always weeks in between any progress and a huge lack of communication on her part. The only time she communicated was when she had a new idea or finally was getting back to us on questions we had. While also unethically reaching out to many of the defendants in open cases for defaulting on their payments, some of which were over 2 years old, to write negative reviews and who knows what else. We believe in integrity and if we thought we owed her anything, we would have already resolved this. As you can imagine we have served over 500 businesses in the last 5 years with no issues until just recently when we started these judicial remedies to get paid for work already done and ******.

We are open to any requests for more information or proof as we are confident in our decisions.

      Complaint: 19893957

I am rejecting this response because this business uses scare tactics, litigations, and misinformation to bully unhappy customers after not providing quality service. Please see the attached 2nd opinion from my new website developer. Why would I pay MORE money to have my website rebuilt rather than stay with Rohring Results? They prefer to do business over Zoom so that they can conveniently forget the goals and asks of the client. I've included emails with notes from my side in blue. This company has delayed the launch of my business substantially and I've had to start from scratch due to their ineptitude. Does this make me a "bully" because I am requesting a refund for a non-functional website I paid full quoted price for?

      Sincerely,
