On 06/16/2023 I hired the company (Steamin Deamin Carpet Cleanin, Inc) (yes grammatical errors are legit) to do a full carpet steam in my home with Deep Scrub, Scothguard applied, most furniture moved upon request.Facts: No Scothguard was applied, really no deep scrubbing done, just very basic since spots were left, the carpets were left soaking in water (stated they will dry in 6 hours, after 12 hours they was still wet), since they machine leaks water at the hose. NO one piece of furniture was moved at all, just the sofa and a chair tilted. Complained, since carpets were dirty, and wall scratched by his son with the house, no credit card was accepted since "his internet was not working properly, so I provided my SSID for my WiFi and even that, I was asked to pay cash or check. (since most people don't have $400 in cash laying around I used check #**** from ********************* for $386.27) Also was charged 7% Taxes and there is no mention of this in the "Estimate Sheet" but "MASKED" as "ADJUSTMENTS" . They came back 06/26/2023 to re-do the carpets, he came with his 2 younger kids only did some areas in less than 30 minutes, after they left, the spots were there. The owner REFUSE to provide a receipt since they are "paperless" the only I was allowed to do, is to take a picture of the ESTIMATE SHEET that is a paper covered with plastic that they write over and over. Have requested my money back since day 1, and the only solution was a $100 refund on 06/28/2023, so far as today 07/07/2023 (he promised the money back by today, and now asking for another week more to produce a receipt and money order) not a solution and ********************* keeps giving me the run around. I have pictures of before and after the job, also videos and pictures of the chat via TEXT since 06/28/2023. Seeking full refund.Business response

Business response taken verbally by BBB:
We have worked out a resolution with this customer. We will be issuing them a $100 refund, we are just waiting on them to agree to a day for us to come out and hand them the refund and a handwritten receipt.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is not quite satisfactory to me.I really DO NOT TRUST them so far, they have shown no intention to honor the word given, I have been waiting for them to provide the refund since they changed 7% as adjustments and that is the exact same amount as the tax for us here, and since they DID NOT applied ScotchGuard Teflon re-application: $120 + also since the Deep scrub was not really done the $180 + and the adjustments amount charged: $25.27 for a grand total of: $325.27 so that is the least amount.
He also promised a gallon of paint to try to fix the damages caused by them.
