I ordered a shift cable for my boat. Through Amazon, I received 6 quarts of oil and an oil filter. I contacted Amazon to get a shipping label return *** charged me $18.60 to send it back after paying $150 for the cable I have sent multiple messages asking for a refund. It has almost been three weeks and nothing has been done. I look up the companies reviews on ******* Multiple people are having the same problem. I dont feel this business. Should be around to rip people off.

On June 15, 2023 I order a *********** change kit for my boat on Amazon. It was done with a 3rd party seller, which was Harvard Marine. I got the shipment pretty fast, considering it was delivered on June 19th. But they sent me the off brand of the oil. Instead of the $90.94 oil that I paid for, they sent me the one that was worth $58.99. I contacted Amazon about it, and they said that since it was through a third party seller, that I would have to contact them. So I contacted Harvard Marine (the one in NY that the returns would go to, even thought the one in ** is the one who sent it) and was told that i could send it back, but I would have to pay for the shipping and that they charge a 20% restocking fee, even though they are the ones who sent me the wrong stuff. They are scamming tons of people by false advertisements, saying and showing pictures of *********** but actually sending Quicksilver. After seeing the product they sent me, I went to the reviews, not only on Amazon but also on ******* and they have done this with numerous people and parts. Even the oil filter that is on the kit box isn't what was actually inside. The kit says the part number for the oil filter is 8m0065103, and the oul filter that was actually inside of the kit was 8m0162830. So honestly, I would like for them to credit me back the difference, and for them to stop doing false advertisements.

canbe returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt. You may receive a partial or no refund on used, damaged or materially different returns." The items were returned unopened in their original boxes. Harvard Marine charged me a $40.00 restocking fee, contrary to their published return policy. The return policy is published *********************************************************************************************** When you hover over the "RETURN POLICY" on the web site, the full return policy is displayed. I have a screen shot of same. I relied on that policy when making the purchase. Had they published the fact that they charge a restocking fee, I would not have made the purchase and found another merchant. I want Harvard Marine to refund the $40.00 "restocking fee" which they charged in violation of their published return policy
