****************** did not cover the ** visit to in network Mease Countryside hospital billed by ***************** on 2-6-23 by an explanation it was a non-network consultation by a doctor on a TV screen located somewhere while in the ** at Mease Countryside Hospital?...Explanation by ****** of ***************** it is a contract issue with hospital...so what does that have to do with elderly patients?...It appears a loophole by WellCare to avoid in network hospital payments that could amount to millions deceiving the ********* Elderly sponsored by Mease Countryside...Why is the hospital in network but some physicians out of network...my out of network bill is $98.14, not that much, but it is the principle of this that bothers me...for all of ******* the deception could be many millions of dollars...the deception is going to a in network ** or visit and unknowingly having out of network charges, something that cannot be dealt with in an emergency situation...I was diagnosed with a *** and had other things on my mind then, what little mind I had at the time...this brings up the Elder Justice Act in *******...is someone here taking advantage of the Elderly who cannot decipher these charges...please Mease Countryside respond...you all chose to use the out of network doctor...not I...Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I need Mease Countryside to show the signed documentation that I accepted *****************, out of network charges, and the signed consent documentation that I chose this teleconference...I do not recall either other than seeing a person on a TV screen...and then weeks later being billed by ***************** for out of network charges.

I am rejecting this response because: Mease Countryside hired ***************** as a subcontractor for this service...Mease is responsible for this contract agreement...At the hospital I had no choice in this matter to choose or not. I went to an ER that was in the network within a distance of 10 miles from WellCare, the Insurance carrier...to **** this off on the subcontractor which Mease hired is absurd...when at the **** making this kind of decision, or agreeing to something verbally or not be treated, is considered signing a verbal/signature agreement "Under Duress"...Mease does not have to respond to this but if there is no response in ten days, I will make my appeal to the attorney general of ******* in writing, including Mease's responder's name.

I keep receiving the same unadjusted bill without both insurance information for accounts, and without itemizations. Several emails went out to the billing department in regards to this and hospital visit to admissions was completed to get this resolved. I still continue to get a bill without the update of both insurances, and without itemization.Business response
