Have been receiving multiple unauthorized Vogue magazines under my maiden name-*******, to a former family residence. Called Vogue and they advised 3rd party National publishers exchange sent subscription but they could not give me more information and to call direct. Called The number given only to be given autoreply to email company. This is fraudulent and I do not want to email this company any personal data. I am not certain which branch this is but am requesting review of company itself and to ensure my data is removed and no charges have occurred as I do not authorize these subscriptions.

I am rejecting this response because:

The number provided is not a working number.  Based on the number of complaints against this company within BBB,  I need to speak to someone on the phone as opposed to on line since these transactions were not authorized on my behalf.  I feel my information is compromised and because of such,  should not be restricted to online followup only.    Please advise.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is  not complete, and have been diverted to follow up with **********************

Since there is nothing NPE can further do, I will close the inquiry with you and follow up direct with this other company.

I have been receiving GQ magazine and did NOT subscribe to it. I contacted GQ and they said there is nothing they can do except hold the order since a third party subscriber is somehow involved. The person at GQ told me to contact the National Publishers Exchange and every time I call the phone number I was given by GQ I am told they are busy and have to send an email. I do not want to give these people any more of my information than they already have, I have given NO CONSENT to being sent these magazines. I DO NOT WANT to get any more in the mail. Thankfully I haven't been charged for them, but I don't want to start getting bill in the mail. The phone number I was given is ************. I am not sure how to file a formal complaint with the company to get them to stop sending me these magazines. From what I have read online, it looks like they sign you up for a subscription, charge you, and bill you. Other people have been harassed by this same company and I would like them to leave me and everyone else alone.Thank you for your help.

I have received two different magazines every week for a few weeks now to my business. They are not even under my businesses name. The names on the magazines are made up or people I do not know. First for Women Magazine and W magazine are the magazines I've been receiving. I called and tried cancelling and was only able to get through to W magazine. They told me I had a subscription through a third party which was the Nationals Publisher Exchange. I have never heard of NPE nor did I subscribe to either one of these magazines. I can not contact NPE as my calls will not be taken with any number I try. I do not and did not give any consent to process magazine subscription on my behalf to be sent to my business.

      Dear ****************,

Thank you for taking the time to escalate your concern so we may review the account and provide a resolution. The National Magazine Exchange has been sponsoring sweepstakes for over thirty years as a way to promote our consumer subscription service offerings.  The information mailed to our recipients merely welcomes them to telephone us to enter the sweepstakes.  The mailer contains the complete sweepstakes rules, including instructions on how to enter, the date of the drawing, the odds of winning, all eligibility restrictions, and the statements that there was no purchase or payment necessary to enter or to win, and that a purchase would not improve the chances of winning. After completion of the entry our callers are offered discounted magazine services as well as various products to accept, if elected.

After reviewing the contacts and the accounts associated with your information, I have cancelled both of your accounts, and have processed refunds of $223.67 and $264.86 to the card originally charged. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please note that the publishers do pre-label the magazines to be shipped, and you may receive several issues still. We have also added you to our Do Not Contact database to prevent future correspondence. If you have any further question or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing *********************************.

      Kindest Regards,

Similar to numerous other grievances documented here, I began receiving unsolicited copies of Forbes magazine. I never subscribed to this service nor did I participate in any sweepstakes or provide marketing details. Upon reaching out to the magazine, they directed me to contact National Publishers Exchange. Despite making several attempts to reach the company via phone, no one responded. This company is fraudulent and operates as a scam.
