      My 2010 Hyundai ******* was at Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall, Hyundai, for replacement of electronic control module. I was advised my brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. I paid $975.77. for this service.Invoice states 'test drove vehicle & verified brakes operating as designed.' I have had this car 14+ years and brakes were never this hard to depress.Recently took my car for service at another shop and was advised brakes are dangerous.This repair shop found 'new master cylinder previously installed by another repair shop, Fitzgerald Countryside Automall Hyundai, separate master cylinder from power booster, O-Ring missing causing vacuum leak requires new O-Ring. I was also told this was expensive, $975.77, for work done.Expensive work was not done properly at Hyundai ******* *********** had dashboard crack, sent 3 photos and never heard from Fitzgerald.

      A month ago I took my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in because I had a SRV 4WD light on my dashboard. the car was driving fine but I wanted to get the light addressed. when I dropped it off I told them there was an occasional knocking sound I would hear when turning my wheel as well. my husband received a call with over 12k worth of repairs that needed done. the service 4WD light was due to a bad PTU. we were quoted 3400.00 for this. We asked to verify it wasn't under warranty. we were told our vin number was not under warranty. i did some research and was being told it is under warranty. My husband asked them a total of 4X to verify it wasn't under warranty and we were told NO IT WAS NOT! "Your year was not covered under warranty" it indeed was under warranty and Dayton Andrews replaced it within days with no cost to us. they also did not mention any thing else was wrong with the vehicle after they did the diagnostic. Fitzgerald also quoted us $7200.00 for a steering gear. From my research this is $600-800. when i asked why the cost was so high i was told it would actually be higher than $7,200.00 due to shop supplies. We were also quoted $1700.00 for the left CV axle. I WAS THEN TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO PAY IN ADVANCE!! (although the PTU was on back order with no expected arrival date-Dayton had one but if they didn't have that they were on back order until at least September) never in my life have i been told i need to pay in advance at a Mechanic shop. When my husband called back to inform them that the PTU was covered under warranty they were apologetic and offered to refund the diagnostic fee. they can keep it. id rather spend $300 to know i will never take my car back to these criminals again. i would advise anyone to stay away from this place OR at the very least always get a second opinion. Another frustrating thing-when i went to pick my car up i was given the wrong keys and my car had been sitting in the parking lot unattended and unlocked.

      I had my vehicle in for services and recall on Friday May 26 on Service Tag # ****/Invoice # **********. I was told I needed new rear brakes. I was told my brakes were at 2 and they need to be replaced now at $600. My rear brakes only had 28,000 miles on them. The Service Advisor told me they would not be able to let me leave with the car. I told them I needed to take car to Tires Plus for warranty replacement. Tires Plus examined, told and showed me that my brakes were fine. The groove/wear indicator had plenty of depth in it. This is no way to treat a customer that not only purchased the vehicle from this dealership but has had a lot of service done here too. I also have a policy in which I receive a voucher every quarter for services at this dealership. I don't think I will have my vehicle serviced there again.
