To who it may concern, I brought my MKX 2011 Lincoln in on 10/3/24 to have my brake system fixed and fix the *** codes, the **** there went over the diagnostic price I told him I thought that was high but I agreed but as myself and one of the other **** continued to talk he asked me to give them a try being that the other mechanic shops couldn't do the job, I ask him to give me a good price he did I agreed. Today 10/8/24 the *** called me told me the car is ready an I ask him if the brakes were good he said yes, I asked were the *** lights off, he said yes, Isaid alright I'm on my way. I got there paid the $2,979.56 then the *** took me to my car turned it on to show me that everything was fixed, first thing me and the *** noticed is that the *** lights stayed on, and the next thing I noticed is my A/C was blowing hot air, then the *** asked me to try the brakes they seemed to work, and while standing there the car exploded the *** turned the car off and went for the mechanic and he walked over and rite away saying it's not his fault accused me of blaming him for the car exploding but that's not true my problem is I wanted my car fixed that means completely fixed and that includes what happened to my car in their care. they did not receive my car in that condition.

The customer arrived at the dealership and brought his concerns to my attention, but only after he already paid AAA to replace his battery. He showed me the new battery that was installed and said the hold down was missing. I explained that I could not warranty another companies product, but did offer to replace the hold down as a goodwill gesture because of the confusion. He expressed his concerns about additional items being discovered during his repair visit, so I explained that is why his extended warranty company uses a third party adjuster to verify and validate the repairs that were completed. There was never any mention of any type of body damage or addition repairs needed. The consumer insisted that I should pay for his battery, then left. We value all of customers and their concerns, but can not be accountable for the quality or workmanship of others.

I purchased a 2016 Cadillac Escalade in **************/Coconut Creek on 11/04/23, for $14,500 down and owe another $22,690 to the loan company. I didn't even make it half way home to my home in ***********, when I stopped a rest area and had a problem trying to restart the car. Since then my mechanic had to replace the crank sensor and starter, which started a small flame that burned the back of the starter and may have cause other electrical issues. A few hours he replaced the starter it started running rough, and he said it was running on 6 cylinders. Currently it is at ****************** in *************, and they are having difficulty using my power train warranty, bought when I purchased the car, to pay for their work, because the dealership put down the wrong mileage on their paperwork. This has been a nightmare since 2 hours after I bought this car. I have owned it for 6 days now, and still can't drive it.

Lincoln of Coconut Creek has reviewed all records and found no negligence in properly delivering said vehicle. Our service records show that a safety check was performed as well as full synthetic oil change and filter along with tire rotation was done. Our road test reported a vibration at 50mph and this was fixed by replacing suspension components. This vehicle was inspected and detailed for sale with warranties available for purchase.

It is without any doubt that Lincoln of Coconut Creek intentionally knew or caused any mechanical malfunction to cause harm to **************. We serviced this vehicle and it was fully functional albeit machines do and will malfunction at any time and usually at the most inconvenient time and place.

We agree that the warranty that was purchased was somehow submitted with an incorrect odometer and has since been corrected. The mileage on all other forms is correct and the warranty company has been advised and has corrected this error. This warranty stated is for powertrain components and reading what ****************** mechanic did to this vehicle that caused a fire might void certain components of coverage due to the *** Certified rating required to work, replace parts and file claim.

The mileage error on the service contract read *******. When the actual reading is, and on everything else ****** and has been reported to the Warranty company. The warranty company now has the corrected mileage and accepted the contract as valid and should be able to process any valid claim of listed coverage. If any damage was done outside of covered components it is not without acknowledgment of said disclosures which I have attached.

I purchased a used 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with ****** miles on it on 10/23/23 from Lincoln Of Coconut Creek. The price on the vehicle was $24,999.00, when I got to the dealership they tacked on an extra $7000.00 for the out the door price. Initially I planned to finance the car with a co-signer. They told me I couldnt have a co-signer on my auto loan, and even with my credit which is a 715, they told me I had to put $6,600.00 down on the vehicle. The vehicle was $5000.00 above market price according to ***** Blue Books. We negotiated the out the door price to $28,000.00 and I ended up putting $6,600.00 down, financing is charging me a 27% interest rate for monthly payments of $639. So for a 10 year old car its well overpriced. Well not even a week later the car broke down on the side of the highway, I had to get it towed to the nearest garage and was informed the car would need a whole new engine costing me $12,800.00. Theyre telling me my warranty only kicks in after 30 days, and to get my car repaired I will have to pay out of pocket. Please whatever guidance you could give me with this situation would be greatly appreciated, I cant afford the repairs on the car after dishing out so much money for the downpayment. I feel partially like I was taken advantage of because Im a young girl. Please let me know what to do.

The night before I was to pick up the vehicle, the sales manager called me and told me not to come, as they had sold the vehicle to another purchaser. I was told by *********** that the decision to sell to another buyer was made by the dealership general manager and owner. Avoid this dealer! They are completely unethical!

My wife came in and asked for an oil change and specified clearly all she wanted was an oil change. ******* named ******* told her "don't worry. We'll just give you the basic service." He didn't make clear there was an additional charge for a tire rotation we didn't want. He then provided her with an authorization for a charge of $258 including a tire rotation my wife didn't know was extra. So, they have a signed form, but she was misled. I have purchased a new car in July 2022, and I have not received the title so far after 4 months. The dealearship has issued a temporary tag 3 times before, the last one expired on Nov 19, and they have not issued a temporary plate yet, so I cannot drive my car. We have explained to ******* that she must go to her local tag agency and have her insurance issue resolved. Complaint: 18485649

I am rejecting this response because: I have only been informed by ************************* (sales person from Lincoln of Coconut Creek) regarding the insurance issue through a voice mail (which he left on October 24th).

All this time (from July when I bought the car to October) nobody ever told me what was exactly the issue.

Please note that all that the Dealership was saying before October 24th, was that they were working to resolve the issue and would send me a temporary tag. The dealership had sent me 3 temporary tag (in August, September and October). And I have been asking them to send another temporary tag for now since November, as I cannot drive my car up to this date December 15 2022 (the last temporary tag expired on November 19th 2022, but nothing has not been done in this matter since then. Last week I talked with ******* from Sales, he said he would check and return to me about it, but never received a call back, and I tried to call them multiple times to ask about that, and nobody answers the call, and nobody ever told if they could get a temporary tag again for me or not. Note that I informed *******/****** 3 times (through phone and email) that I needed a temporary tag now after the last expiration date November 19th 2022.

Please note that I have called the Dealership multiple times during this period (October-November) and nobody answered my calls, I was always directed to talk wth Sales, but when they transferred the call nobody answered, until ***************************** (sales person) finally answered my call (November 21 2022) and informed me about the voice mail that I had missed from ************************* (sales person). The voice mail was left on October 24th 2022, however I saw the voice mail on November 21 2022, and the voice mail informed  that it was pending with my insurance to send the proof of insurance to the **** I called my insurance company in the same day , and requested them to send the proof of insurance to the **** they said they had done as requested, and they provided me this: Confirmation Number: 1-734-408-224.

In December 1st 2022 I talked with ******* to inform I still had not received the tag/registration, and he informed that all issues had been resolved and I should receive the tag/registration within 1 week. After 1 week I called ******* again and informed that I had not received the permanent tag/registration and I asked again for them to issue a temporary tag, he said he would check and let me know, but I am just waiting since then.

I had even tried to go to the tag office in Georgia, and they told me they could not see anything in the system, as the registration was still pending in *******. I live in Georgia, so it would be hard for me to go to the ******* tag office.

For now, I have tried to call the Dealership multiple times and they are not answering my calls anymore. I believe they were instructed to not *************, however if they answered my calls much of this trouble and stress could be resolved. I needed them to send me a temporary tag, as I cannot drive my car for now, but if this is not possible, they should have told me (this is the least I was expecting). The lack of communication from the Dealership (avoiding/not answering or returning my calls) is what makes the situation even harder. As a customer the least I would expect is the Dealership answering / returning my calls, at least to say that they cannot do anything, if this is the case.

I just filed this complaining to the BBB because the Dealership failed to answer/return my calls. I really called the Dealership multiple times and even asked to be transferred to someone who could speak with me as nobody was answering, and all I got was being direct to voice mails again and again.

I do not understand why the *** was waiting for the insurance company to send the proof of insurance to them, as I sent the proof of insurance to the Dealership in the same day that I received the car on July 16th 2022. Also why the dealership never told me before October 24th that it was pending with the ***************** to send the proof of insurance.

      Sincerely,

      *********************************

I purchased a vehicle from Lincoln of Coconut creek on 8/24/22. I had already had a tag on file for them to just transfer. I was unaware that the vehicle had not been fully released over to the dealership because it was a trade in. The previous lien holder is still currently on the vehicle and they are unable to issue me a hard tag. I called on numerous occasions to get the issue resolved before coming to this. They continued to give me the run around until I did my own research and begin to tell them that I know this is not right. They asked for more time (one week to be exact), and they will hand deliver me my tag at my residence. It has been a month since and still no tag. They have already issued two paper tags, and by law they are unable to issue a third one, My paper tag expires tomorrow 10/21/22. I do not want to have to continue paying for a vehicle that I am unable to drive due to the negligent of a company. Please help
