I am a resident in a new construction townhome community in **************** - called Greyson (constructed by Luxcom Builders) as of April 2020. Several residents in this community have experienced multiple construction issues and the builder either does not respond, or sends their handyman to address (which ends up just being a bandaid to the problem and not a permanent fix). I have pictures of construction issues. I have shower grout issues (Luxcom tried to fix this 3 times - after I kept informing them it was not resolved, but I am still having the issue of my grout coming out). I also have estimates from 2 companies in regards to the (thousands of dollars worth of) water damage from water entering my home. Other residents have reported this same issue as well in the same areas of their home (seems to be a design flaw - which the builder should be responsible for). The estimates include pictures. The first time I noticed water entering my home (November 2020) they sent their ******* to address it - turns out it was just a bandaid "fix" - not a permanent fix. I noticed water entering again in June/July 2022. The builder refused to address it. There are cracks on the exterior of the building, mold under my carpet, and water stains on my baseboard and dry wall.Business response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. However, in response to Case No. *******, I have attached our Limited Warranty Agreement/Buyers Completion Acceptance/New Home Orientation Checklist acknowledged and signed by *******************************. I have highlighted key points relevant to this complaint for *********** reference.
During ****************** 1 year warranty, Luxcom attended and repaired what was needed in her home. Closing took place on 04/07/2020, currently making her home 21 months out of warranty.
As per the executed documents by ****************, please refer to the highlighted conditions/requirements where the homeowner has an obligation to inspect,maintain and repair the home to avoid any issues.

I am rejecting this response because:When the builder attempted to address this at the end of 2020, they sent their handyman to resolve in a manner that ended up being just a temporary fix/band-aid. Knowing what I know now, they should have sent a professional business to resolve with a permanent fix. They are avoiding the resolution of a design flaw, which many residents in this community are currently experiencing in the same way I am.
