We no longer have service as of 03-31-2024. We were charged $20.98 on a current bill with no explanation as to why. Account number **********. We have made multiple attempts to contact customer service and they refuse to answer calls.Business response

This company charges to collect trash and doesnt honor their own pick up schedules. They dont answer their phones. They dont return voicemail or email.Business response

12-25-23 we were not running routes, any holiday that falls on a schedule day this will be made up as a double pickup on the next scheduled day, which is Thursday. i have reached the route and if there was no pick up yesterday we will be returning to get this cleaned up, my apologies, due to the closure on Monday some routes did run behind.

I am rejecting this response because:A poor business model is not the customers problem. The fact that you either didnt have enough employees, trucks, or proper leadership-again falls on the company, not the consumer. The *** requires us to keep our trash cans out of view or they consider it a violation. The entire community/neighborhood was in violation of the rules, because trash was not picked up on time as per the contractual agreements between the residents and this company.
Unless it is different in Florida, trash is usually more abundant following the Christmas holiday. I am very well aware they do not have holiday pick up, but at least have the courtesy to be on time for those that pay you to do your job.perhaps if this community is too much for waste connections to handle, I am sure there are other companies willing to take their place. And I can assure you many of the residents. Would love to see that happen.

My complaint is, I have been a customer with ****************** Management for many years. I've lived at this address for over 30 years. the last several years, I've called them many times for not picking up my trash. They are supposed to pick up my trash twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. this past Tuesday, chasing the driver down, he said they cancelled my account. when I called, the west Pasco office stated I didn't pay in September. they don't send me a notice in the mail, she said to go online. So I paid up until January she said . today, they still didn't pick up my garbage. I went to check online, they don't even have me in their system. who did I pay $120 too? this has happened twice this year,maybe more of not picking up this address.calling them, I think things are good, then this not picking up happens again. I need their owner to see how their secretarys are not doing their job, and find out why this keeps happening to me, them not providing my 2 days a week service I'm supposed to be getting, that I pay for. terribly sorry, due to the open 7-20-23 the service was on hold which would cause a stop in pick up,. a payment for this was posted on 10-3-2023 and after that you should have received service, i will get with the Site Manager to look into this and place a handle with care for the time after the payment was posted, we did have some route issues last week. i am going to credit you for any scheduled pick up after 10-3-23 that was missed If you would like to discuss this please call me at ************ Ext 3102.

Ive had an ongoing continuous problem with this company, they refuse to collect my trash, but have no issue billing me every pay period. I havent had my trash picked up in close to a month, Ive been having to take it to a dump myself. I have two kids.. trash is overflowing as is. Much less when my trash company cant even collect the trash cans. They tried to say we would have to place our bins at the end of the main road, (I live on a private road with public access) they claimed their trucks couldnt make it. I called the county/ city on them & the county came out & verified the road was stable enough for the trash to be serviced in front of our homes. I have two elderly couples living next door to me, further away from the main road, they physically CANT drag the bins to the end of the road. Ive contacted waste connections about 30 times saying they missed our trash pick *** over this last ************************************************************************************************* & the trash men come collect my trash THAT day. It never happens its been an absolute nightmare dealing with ********* at my **** end. I need help!! Please.Business response

*********************** (supervisor) did get to speak to the customer and allow the customer to voice their concerns about trash collection. We agreed that our crew will continue to service the area. They do not have to put the trash out on 20th st. ***** has given the customer his number to call or reach out if any issues. Moving forward customer should have no issues getting collected anymore. We have put in a credit for the missed pick *** and will monitor moving forward. We did have a backup driver running the route and he did miss for collection. My family and I recently moved to Wesley Chapel Florida. The previous owner of our house paid until September for trash services through Waste Connections. They're supposed to pick up the trash every Tuesday and every Friday. We have been here for 2 weeks and they still have not picked up the trash once. We now have trash piled to the top of our cans as well as bags sitting next to the cans and bags piling up in our garage. I spoke to our new neighbors and they all said that this is how Waste Connections does business all the time. I now have to worry about rodents and other critters getting into the garbage and spreading it all over the place. This is completely unacceptable. Waste Connections needs to do their job or pay for somebody else to come and do it because they have already been paid for a service that they have not completed. Please help.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/21) */ Hello and thank you just this past June all customers were notified to place the cans at Deep River Ct due to Deacon street not functional for the safety of the truck. the service is active until 9-30-22. please make sure the address is also on the container. We all have our cans sitting at Deep River Ct and have had them sitting there all week long. My address is clearly marked on the top of my cans. I have not had my trash picked up for an entire week while my neighbors on both sides of me have had theirs picked up. This is causing a health hazard for me and my family as trash is now accumulating at my house. Received a bill from Waste Connections with a Statement date of 3/20 for April service in the amount of $156.20. I paid the full amount due. Received the invoice for 4/20 and it included a price increase (not complaining about that even though this is the 6th one in 30 months and my bill has gone from $42 to $180) what I am bothered by is that on this new statement they back billed me the difference of the increase for the 3/20 invoice that was already paid! When I called and spoke to a supervisor (Margaret) on 4/28, she admitted that the Corp. office did not get the increase to the billing dept. in time. I told her most companies including my own, make a mistake we eat it and do not pass that mistake on to our customers, and that it was bad business practice! She told me that they were not giving any adjustments at this time per corporate.Business response

I live down a dirt road and would like to receive trash service to my house, their complaining that i have to put my trash cans on ****************, in which don't make no sense, they can't say their trucks too big, because a waste management trucks drives in reverse to pick up a 4 cu yard dumpster, i'm on disability and i can only bring 2 bags to the dump on *********** and can't bring other materials like broken furniture there cause of my health and breathing issues, so i am requesting service to my houseBusiness response
