Rick Case Honda participates in unfair business practices, deception, bait and switch, and fraud. I can never get the hours of lost time back and endless communication dealing with them with my brand new 2025 Honda Civic. After being bounced back and forth between their *** and Honda dealership and lied to I finally decided to do a deal on a 2025 Civic Si that was in transit to Rick Case Honda. I went in and did all of the lease paperwork, of course at that moment the *** changed the terms. They had me leave a deposit and sign all of the binding legal paperwork I.e. title papers, power of attorney on my trade etc. After the vehicle didn't show up from ********* in 2 days like I was promised I popped in unannounced to find my vehicle with my VIN parked in front and another customer taking possession of it. The *** on duty came back with the most insincere and fake sounding excuse I ever heard saying they had two of the same exact make and model sold 1 hour apart the same day I did my paperwork. That's funny, he doesn't know the employees showed me their internal inventory the day of the deal and that was the ONLY one in transit. During that week and a half a 2nd one was moved to ********* so they sold mine to another customer for what I assume was more money. They then made me wait 2 more days for a replacement, once it arrived they made me sit with a whole new finance manager and resign ALL of the paperwork again this time coercing me to finance with an extended warranty and higher monthly payment. They would not allow me to see the original lease docs to verify I was getting the same deal. Now, after all that, the vehicle that wasn't even supposed to be mine has been deemed a lemon. They lied to me, tricked me, and gave me a defective vehicle so they can make a bigger sale on the original car. A month old and the ** compressor has seized, 2 new batteries, and it still keeps dying. My kids have been late to school because of it. Absolutely disgustingRick Case Honda Response

Mr. ****** came in and put a deposit on a vehicle. While in-transit, the vehicle was sold, in error, by another associate. Honest mistake and we got him a replacement vehicle that was coming to us from the port. We had him come in and sign paperwork on the vehicle on the 10th of September and he took delivery, just 2 days later, on the 12th. Not a bait and switch. He actually took delivery of the same model, trim, and color he originally chose. I understand the frustration but it was not intentional and we rectified by getting him the exact same vehicle straight from the port 2 days later. He took delivery on the 12th of September and all was fine up until a month later. The main issue arises on Oct 12 when he starts to experience an issue with his vehicle and also Honda released recalls on many of the vehicles in the Civic line. He wants to file a lemon lawsuit and unfortunately that is beyond our control. It is the manufacturer and the state that decide the parameters and end result of those cases. We have given him all of the repair order history he has asked for and now he is bringing up the situation that happened prior to taking delivery of his vehicle on Sept 12.
Also when signing for the new vehicle he opted for an extended warranty by choice because of his driving patterns and he wanted to cover his vehicle due to a long commute. I also mentioned that I could cancel it for him if he chose to. We can gladly cancel the warranty and apply the reimbursement to the lienholder to lower his balance if he has had a change of heart.

I had auto accident in mid May 2024 in my 2024 Honda Pilot. Had the repairs done at Rick Case Honda. All was fine. Picked the vehicle up. Like the way it was repaired. I was kept up to date on what was going on. Even a week or so afterward, the insurance company had to pay an additional $500. The funds were sent to me. **** at the dealership contacted me in reference to the additonal funds. I immediately transferred to the owed funds to the dealership collision department. So, just a few days ago is saw this piece of plastic fixture on the car flying in the wind. I took a look, pushed it back in, but it wouldnt fit all the way. It looked as if someone pulled it out, stretching it to the point that it does not fit in properly. Now, this collision departmeant it the only one who worked on the car in that area. I called 3xs on 3 different days. No one cared to call me back. I even sent an email to this ****, no response. I will never, ever, deal with this place ever again! if its not about them receiving money, you will never hear from this. Little to they know, Im not done.The email sent:****, I have made 2 calls to you (6/12 and 6/13) explaining the issue, and asking you to return my call. To date, you have failed to do so! If this had to do with funds, I am sure I would have heard from you immediately. For whatever the reason you have failed to return the call, this is not a good look for business. If I dont hear from you by Monday, I will present the issue by other means. As of this moment, I feel as though I am being ignored. I offer no apologies!!!!!Review from Santo S

I went to get a car with a 8k down payment, and the finance guy makes sure that I didnt get any credit from that money to the original price of the car, I just wanted to people know that they need to watch out for the guy who name is *****, he can pretend to be nice, but he will make your down payment disappear and still smiling at your faceReview from Liana V

Worst Honda Dealer Ever!! Lied to in every angle ... Came here because they are known to be a big dealer and I was so disappointed.. from
the rookie sales person ***** the liar to the Horrible Manager ******* also a liar with a horrible attitude that almost look like he was going to jump of the chair and hit me. Poor customer service ... He really does not know how to deal with customers...
the WORST experience I have ever had.. I just hope that I do have the " "so called certified warranty " they offer you but don't disclose it on the contract as the " certified warranty for 995.00.
BEWARE Of this dealer, RUN !!! Do not buy a used car here. BTW Thank you ****** ** ***** for returning my call !!

To whom it concern at BBB, please be advised that Rick Case Honda always stand behind our customers, in relation to this complain Mr ******* ***** came and purchase a 2020 honda Civic Certified and later learn that it had a minor damage on carfax which with honda is acceptable to certify. Mr ***** and his wife ***** came back on the 29th of november upset about this and was told No Problem we will trade you out of the car at no financial expense to them but please lets do it in a professional way. We took the 20 Civic that they paid $24112 out the door and gave them $24820 allowance on a 20 Honda Accord which they left with and was very happy about. I (****** ******* ) left a message on Liana phone to contact me because she wanted to know how the certify warranty works. she was provide a brochure plus information from a finance manager . if you have any questions on the matter feel free to contact me ****** ******* at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
