Dayton *** is currently running a promotion thru a mailed flyer that includes a "Lady ***** game. The game is deceptive marketing at best and borders on fraud. The game allows you to determine if you are a winner of $100 to $100,000 prizes. The flyer has the terms of the game that require no purchase etc. If you are a winner in the "scratch style game", you call an automated number, enter your code and get the message, "congratulations, your prize has been reserved". When you get to the dealer to claim your prize you are now told you must match your flyer number with the ones posted at the dealer. This requirement appears nowhere in the flyer or the provided "fine print" in the flyer. This purposeful non-disclosure of the requirement to match another number is deceptive marketing and perhaps fraudulent. It amazes me that a business would even think that this will attract customers. You may go there to collect a prize but will never buy from them considering the outcome.Review from Elissa W

This dealership was great and charming to get my money, only to sell me a $54k lemon. I have had my telluride in the shop 4 times in 3 months for the same issue and it started happening a week after I bought it. No one seems to be on the same page or have any clue what is going on. They have had me waiting for hours on end to have no answers. They have given me no hope that it will be fixed at all. The employees dont even agree with the shady business that accrues or the way they treat their customers. It is super frustrating. I highly DO NOT reccomend buying from them. I will NEVER deal with them ever again.Review from Vanessa V

I brought my vehicle into Daytona Kia to check the illuminated check engine light. I was told by the service manager ****** that my vehicle had two codes and that they replaced the warrantied fuel filter. I was told the car was ready for pick up with no further issues. Thirty minutes later I received another phone call telling me my car would not start and the fuel pump had to be replaced. He then told me this was not under warranty and that the charge would be $1700.00. I went to the dealership and demanded a loaner and contacted *** corporate in hopes to get the vehicle repaired under goodwill. I kept the rental car for two weeks while *** investigated the claim but had to return it when ****** threatened to call the police on me to have the car reported stolen. I was forced to pay for a rental on my own. It took *** two more weeks to investigate and I was denied any help. At first ****** was going to charge me $1700 for repair of the fuel pump and fee for the rental car. After a phone call from my mother he then lowered the charge to $1200. He gave me paperwork that never mentioned the original complaint, codes or replacement of the fuel filter. My car was at Daytona Kia for 30 days. Never go to Daytona Kia for repairs or sales. Not to be trusted.Review from Julett R

Beware!!! I was told one price for the car and they change the price without telling me.Then the Finance person told me it was required by *********** for me to purchase these extra warranties on a new car. The Finance guy said it was the only way *********** would take the loan. So I sign the agreement. The next day I was told by my friend it's not required, so I called *********** and they said we never required extra warranty. They also told me I was approved for a lower interest rate but the Finance guy gave me a higher one. BEWARE of Finance person that's how they make there bonus off of warranty.Review from Deborah S

My friend came in there the day before I signed to help me and they jerked her out of there they knew I wasn't in my right mind that day I know they know I wasn't. I purchased a vehicle last night from Daytona Kia. I asked the sales person specifically if the car had been in an accident and he said no. This morning I took the car over to show my uncle and he checked out the car and IT HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, and the price was $4,000 more than it was listed. I went to the dealership to ask to return it and they said no. I called the financer and they said the dealership should REWIND the deal. I reached out to the dealership AGAIN and they AGAIN refused. I am at a loss and I thought I would have the 3 day grace period. Over Charged FOR A WRECKED CAR - THANKS DAYTONA KIA YOU ARE PROVING THE DIRTY SALES MAN STEROTYPE! Buyers Beware!Review from Ron K

Aug 10th at the Daytona Kia Dealer. *** * **** *** ******* ****** FL 32114, Called Daytona Kia in the morning and spoke to S and explained that I wanted to come in and discuss end lease buy out and if it was ok to come in without my wife do to health issues to discuss pricing. When I arrived & started talking about pricing one of the managers came out and said they could not discuss anything because of federal law. I said we were not talking about anything confidential. He stated I have to bring my wife in because the lease is in her name. I went home and told my wife they would not talk to me without her there so we went back together. We went and started talking to S. He came back from the manager with a buyout offer of $17438.87. I took the copy and stated that was way too high, not correct, crossed some lines out, I added question marks and, then took a picture because he said I could not keep it. He then counter offered without the markup. The counter offer still included the $998.00 dealer fee and S said we would qualify for 5% interest. With hesitation and still disputing the dealer fee we said we may go ahead with it. We then went to the finance office and were handed a contract and told to sign here. I looked at the contract and saw the payment was too high and the interest was 7%. When I questioned the finance guy he said sarcastically you’re not buying a new car. He was rude and upset my wife. We left after that with my wife upset. Note: We are both in our 70's We decided we would offer a counter offer without the dealer fees included. So I composed an email explaining the residual value is $12736.80 and section 9 of the contract says no purchase option fee. The following email is what I received: S Aug 12, 2023, 2:04?PM to me Hello R, Thank you for reaching out to me. It was a pleasure to meet you. I spoke to my managers; they stated that they are unable to make a deal with you. Sincerely, S Cell:Review from PATRICIA B

I have purchased 9 cars in my lifetime and this has been the worst dealer experience ever. Purchased my used 2022 Kia Sorento X-Line S AWD on 4/29/23 and it was delivered on 5/11/23. The vehicle came without a owners manual, no 2nd key, and missing parts in jack kit. Despite numerous texts to the salesperson, countless unreturned phone calls, and emails to the dealership, to date I have had zero response and still have not received the promised items. I even filed a complaint with Kia corporate. They did contact the dealership and more promises were made, but no one from the dealership ever followed up with me. Finally, Kia corporate told me they couldn't help me since the dealership was privately owned. Kia Daytona and Johnny (JR) ********* (salesman) make promises they don't fulfill and tell nothing but lies! Once they get your money, they don't care anymore and will ghost you. I have finally given up and will be purchasing the promised items through another dealer. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.Review from Robert W

This dealership will tell you anything and not stand behind it. Purchased a 2023 telluride 12/2022 paid way too much for it but was told that the maintenance agreement I paid for covered 2 years service in the words of the finance person “no cost for maintenance for 2 years” show up for the 3rd oil change after driving 2.5 hrs they tell me my maintenance is over and service wouldn’t do anything said I need les to talk to sales I asked was I not at Daytona kia. I should have known when we purchased it and after I got home tried to call the sales people and finance people several times had to leave messages no one would return my call. WARNING to anyone thinking of purchasing from them don’t do it period.
