I had a property for sale and at least propane tank on my property. I called discount propane to verify that I would get a refund if I filled the tank because again my property was for sale so sold with 3/4 of a tank full and they told me that theyre not going to refund me because of the fine print and I previously called to verify I would get refunded and I was informed I would get a refund for what was in my tank. One property sold. All I had to do was send them my closing statement which I did and let them know what was in the tank which I did and now they tell me they will not refund me is improper business practices buyer bewareBusiness response

******, the Discount Propane technician, came out for an outside fireplace they had previously installed. ****** took the malfunctioning piece and said he would contact me to let me know if the part was under warranty. I received no phone call from ****** or Discount Propane for 3/4 months. I contacted the office to find out the status of the situation. I was told the part was in, and ****** would be out to install it on September 29, but he did not show. I was then given another appointment for ****** to come out, but again, he did not show. After THREE times of no-shows, I contacted the office to find out what was happening. I was told that ****** had already come out, and the part was put back in the fireplace. NO TIME during this period was I told that the part/service was not covered under warranty. At NO TIME was I ever even quoted anything. The only time I ever spoke with the technician was when he came out initially, took the part, and told me he would call me to see whether it was covered under warranty. Again, at NO TIME did I ever sign or consent to any charges. I did not know until today when I looked at my credit card bill that I was charged $583.59 for what, I don't even know!Business response

************** repaired the fireplace as requested by customer originally. However, we did have to wait for the part to come in and it took 3/4 months to arrive. Once it arrived, we did repairs. The customer thought this was a warranty item but it was not. This was never relayed to the customer. We are taking the part out and a refund has been issued for the repairs in the amount of $583.59. Another solution has been made with the customer and ********************** for repairs.
