****. They sell phoney vehicle VFR stickers using misleading letters to new car owners. They make it sound like youve signed up for this service when you bought your car (lies). The stickers are worthless. Its a stupid sticker with your car VIN on it, which is somehow supposed to help law enforcement recover your vehicle if its stolen. They cannot name one law enforcement entity in the country that has even HEARD of VFR stickers, much less one that USES them as any means of theft recovery or identification. No car has EVER been recovered using their window sticker. They scammed my elderly mother, who read their letter and thought she legitimately owed money to them when she bought her car!Cant someone put these hucksters out of business? That is the ONLY response Id find acceptable. (Ugh. I have to leave at least one star as a rating. They wont let me give zero.)Review from HG.

We are sorry to hear that the way we identified you; made you feel this way. Enough to write a negative review. Billions of dollars are lost each year because of vehicle larceny. Even with some of the most comprehensive insurance plans. You can still lose, or have it cost you thousands of dollars if your vehicle is to be stolen. There is also a layer of service that gives you the ability to receive fleet and commercial discounted prices on vehicle maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories, roadside assistance, and rental vehicles. Just for having our anti-theft service. Your money and time are precious to us too. Unfortunately, you didn't call in to get that information. We do understand that you were not happy with the way you were offered our services enough to write this negative review, and because of this, we would like to place you on our do not correspond list to negate the chances of bothering you by contacting you again in the future. Unfortunately, we werent able to identify your mail file with the information you provided. If I could put negative 5 stars I would!!! This company is beyond sly and cunning . They think that by sending customers who have just recently purchased a vehicle a letter which looks to be from the dealer vehicle was purchased knowing that the consumer will call. Once on the phone they immediately sell something. The letter states our registration is imminent. Don’t fall for these! They are nothing but scam artists. We have NOT made any claims of being a part of, or as having any affiliation to any specific vehicle dealership and/or vehicle manufacturer. We have and will continue to work with any dealership or manufacturer if requested to do so by our registered driver or customer. We offer a customer/******************** owner liaison service that often involves these types of organizations throughout the term of our services that are available in conjunction with our vehicle anti-theft services. When you were sent the notice of service; there was an automated recovery service made available to you. We also issued you a voucher/coupon for a discounted rate for services if you were to register. The only thing imminent is that; like most coupons; the temporary services and/or discounts will eventually expire. It seems there was a miss connection and that wasnt our intention. We do understand that you were not pleased in general, and we have located the mail file from the information you have provided in this review, and we are placing you on our future do not correspond list to negate the chances of bothering you by contacting you again in the future. I will not be doing any business with this outfit ... at best its' misleading advertising and at worst a complete shame. Other comments about the way the initial letter presents itself appears to be from some service you've already signed up for or is part of a new purchase (by the manufacturer or dealer).Review from Charles H

This has to be a scam. The physical address they use is actually the address for a UPS Store. A simple search of the address revealed that information. And they do try to make it sound like it's from the vehicle manufacturer. "IMPORTANT | HONDA DRIVER NOTIFICATION" is what is on the front of the envelope. Why do I even need this "service" if I have full coverage insurance? And there is a complete lack of disclosure of the fees they charge. Why isn't that available on their website? They want you to call them, that way they can get around the "Do Not Call Registry". Everything about them sends up red flags.Review from Brian

Deceitful and misleading just as the rest have said. Addressed to Ram Owner but makes it look like it's from the manufacturer. Never says that it's an advertisement or that it's NOT associated with the manufacturer. Plus never gives any prices as to try and trick you into calling (thinking that it's from the manufacturer) to get the pushy salesperson to harass you. No I didn't call, I looked online first and came here.
Return address is 600 S. Tyler, Suite 2100-1001, Amarillo Tx on the outside of the envelope yet in very fine print on the back it has a Deerfield Beach Fl address. Again misleading and using multiple addresses to deceive people. They also use a "14 DAYS NOTICE OF SERVICE" in all caps to make it sound more urgent. How is this company/person still in business with all of this. 1.18/5 rating says it all about this ****.National Theft Search & Recovery Response

There have been recent increases in vehicle theft across the country. The national insurance crime bureau, law enforcement, and insurance providers suggest taking a defensive layered approach to protecting vehicles from theft. We understand that you aren't pleased with the way you were notified of the temporary recovery services that were made available to you because of the increases in theft. We were able to identify your mail file from the information you have provided the BBB in your review and are able to remove you from our future correspondence list. Which will lower the chances of contacting you again in the future.
