I have been coming here since August 2022. I came under the impression that Pilates would help me with the pain of my two herniated discs (L4&L5) in my lower lumbar spine. It causes me a pinched nerve so it hurts ALOT. I noticed my pain has only gotten worse from going here and they are insisting I pay a $109 fee for 4 more classes. Instead of just canceling my membership. This is unethical, inconsiderate and irresponsible. They could make my injury worse. It is extremely dangerous. Im to the point I can barely walk, sit or perform daily tasks because of how bad Pilates has affected me. I should not have to pay $109 to a company who doesnt care about my health.

We offer any member the ability to freeze their membership without any charge when they have an injury (a doctors note is required) you never provided us with any proof of any proof of an injury, you were also offered the option of privates as alternative if that made you more comfortable you declined. Our membership does require that you give 30 days notice to cancel something all our members are aware of and this was still required because your condition is not something that would prevent you from safely doing classes, on the contrary pilates will strengthen your core and help with stability and flexibility, all of which are highly recommended for your condition. Pilates is actually RECOMMENDED and because we care about you we would encourage you to do pilates regularly which you did, since you joined us you completed 59 classes with remarkable consistency and you were happy with your membership and made no complaints at all, the only issue was your October and November payments were late.  In December 2022 we pushed back your billing date at your request, and then we contacted you several times about the past due payment Jan 2, again on Jan 5 and then we pushed back your bill date again on Jan 6 upon your request, when that payment was still not made by Jan 13 you only then stated you had the herniated disc and wanted to cancel, your sent in your cancellation request Jan 18 almost one month after your original payment was due.  To be very clear we do care about our members but we do not discriminate and apply our rules to all members and always make exceptions when there is clear medical evidence.
