This firm advertised a 10/5-10/11 midsized car rental of $121.45 on Expedia. When we went to pickup the car, they said my credit card insurance was not sufficient so I showed them I had proof of all the other insurance they needed. They then informed me that I'd have to pay $140 additional for an insurance processing fee - not for any insurance but in case I got into an accident and they had to contact my MA insurer. This more than doubled their fee from $121 to $261!When I complained, they told me they were NOT going to rent to me, even if I were to pay the $140 extra! The price they listed on Expedia was fraudulent: the real fee to drive off their lot was $261 not $121.

On August 19th my fianc book a vehicle through Priceline for three days. The booking dates were for August 20th to August 23rd for a total of $72.93 dollars. The pick-up time was 10am and the drop off time was 12pm. I picked up the vehicle from Green Motion *********** in ***************. The car was picked up as agreed on August 20th and drop off on August 23rd at 12:00pm. In addition I also purchased the unlimited toll package for $48.11 on the day I picked up the vehicle as shown on my credit card statement. A month later (September 13th) I noticed I was charged an extra ***** by Green Motion ***********. I immediately called the rental company and they told me that I was charged an extra ***** because I rented the car for an extra day. I told them that this was not possible. My receipt from their company proves I dropped off the car at 12pm. They stated because I picked up the car at 10am and dropped it off at 12pm and since there is more then 24 hours in a day that the system automatically charges an extra day. I told the customer service representative named **** that my agreement from Priceline clearly says the three day duration was for pickup time 10am and drop off time 12pm. I was told she cant do anything about that. I have been calling for the last two weeks trying to get in touch with a manager but they refuse to return my calls. ********* tried to also dispute the charge for me and Green *********** stated multiple excuses all for which is a lie and I have proof such as Receipts, contracts and rental agreements which Ive sent to both Priceline and Green Motion. They still refuse to provide me a refund. I now see Green Motion car company has a two star rating on multiple websites and they have scammed multiple people. Please help me. Thank you.

I booked a rental for this company through Expedia. My total online was around $160. When I arrived to the business, I waited for 4.5 hours. Once I finally began the process to sign in, I was made aware of $250 MORE in fees, including a surcharge for using my insurance, which is on their list of approved insurances. They mistakenly applied a THOUSAND dollar hold on my card. I demanded it be refunded, but it still takes days. I could not use my card for the entirety of my vacation. I then waited an additional 45 minutes for the car, as it was "being cleaned." Every time I asked where the car was I got a different answer; it's being vacuumed, it's being washed, etc. *********** does not even have enough cars to get through the day. After the additional 45 minutes of waiting in the 103 degree Fl heat, I received my car. It was circumferentially COVERED in damage. The business "documented" this by taking photos with their personal cell phones. I had to request a formal damage report. My car was due back at the rental on 7/19 at 3:30. It was returned at 3:10. 3 weeks later I get a $70 charge on my card for a "late fee." The business is insistent that the car was due at 10:00 when the copy of the receipt with my signature on it says return 3:30. They are refusing to refund the late fee, and will only offer me a 10% refund on the entire exchange, when Fl state tax is 7%. This company is the largest scam I have ever encountered. I have text messages of time stamps for the entire interaction. I made a call to my sister at 10:54 when I arrived. At 11:28 I told her I was going to come back to the airport because it took too long, but ended up staying. At 12:29 we were still waiting. At 12:36 I was next in line. At 1:11 I was done and just waiting on car. At 1:27 I was still waiting for car. Finally at 1:38 I was on my way.On 7/19 at 3:11 at was at car rental to return.

04/04/2022. Green motion. $342.94. I picked up the car from green motion I rented through Priceline. I made it 15 miles from picking up the vehicle and the tire blew. I called the company several times with no answer. When I was able to reach them they told me they couldnt do anything so I called road side assistance. I waited on the interstate for 2 hours. The mechanic told me the car not only had a problem with that tire but the remaining 3. He said it was not safe to drive on and was concerned about the car even making it back to the company. When I arrived I told them about the situation and requested all 4 tires be changed or trade out for a different car. They refused to help and only offered to changed the one tire with the spare. Because of this I used Uber and had to rent through enterprise instead. Discover disputed most of the charges except the remaining $342.94. This company has not provided any paperwork and the documentation I seen from discover my signature was foraged on part of it. I have tried several times to get into contact with them and I have not received a call back and they do not answer. The Priceline info/trip number is ***********. After reading the reviews on their website there has been several people with the same scam.

We rented a car through a 3rd party site at green motion for 124. This was the total after fees and taxes. This was paid at the time. No other conditions were mentioned. When we got to green motion we were told we needed the actual car insurance policy to use our own insurance. The insurance card was not sufficient. this took a while to obtain. Then were told an additional 50 would be needed because our insurance was not adequate. It's through geico and has been in effect for over 30 years. After a 500 security deposit we were told that no other charges would occur as our deposit would be given back. We left thinking we would be charged the 175. Upon returning, we were told all was good, no other charges would occur and our deposit was coming back. They would email us confirmation. We just got their email. Not only were we charged the 124 originally, they charged us for the 124 as well, the extra 50 bogus insurance charge, we were also charged an additional 105 for god knows what. So what we thought would be 124 ended up being 279 at green motion and 124 through the 3rd party. Very deceptive business practices on the verge of being illegal.

07/23/2022 Reservation #GMFLL - ****** I reserved a rental car with this company for 3 days via Expedia.com. I prepaid for the car- total amount was $55.57. Upon arrving to thier office(which was under a different name) I presented the required insurance coverages to rent the vehicle, they at first said nothing, then I was told to I could check out and the price was around $140. When I asked why, they told me I had the corrrect insurance coverages, but not one of thier preffered companies. This was not disclosed to me unitl I arrived in the office, I told them to cancel the reservation- which they did. They told me I would have to contact Expedia.com to get the prepaid amount refunded. After working with Expedia.com, they informed me that Green Motion has refused to give a refund. I called Green Motion to resolve the issue, they bounced me around to a few representatives until I spoke with a supposed manager, he just repeated himself there was nothing he could do and hung-up on me. It is clear that most other customers also were lurred in by the low teaser rate and found out upon arrival of their policy. It is my opinion Green Motion is being deceptive, pulling a ************* on unsuspecting customers once they are arrive/stranded at the office.

I booked a car rental reservation through Expedia on 6 Jun 2022. On 14 Jun 2022 I arrived to pickup my rental. GreenMotion (company) refused to rent the vehicle to me without making a copy of my ID and credit card and insisted that I purchase excess liability insurance from them. They refused to accept insurance purchased from *** for rental car coverage and from GEICO. Required, non-optional fees should be disclosed at the time of booking and included in the price. I declined to complete the rental with them because the fee went from $130 to over 2x time that amount.

I MADE A RESERVATION FOR A CAR RENTAL FOR 7/14/2022. CONFIRMATION# 0TWFC8, PREPAID $180 WHICH WAS THE ***** AMOUNT. WHEN I GET TO GREEN MOTION THEY ASKED ME FOR PROOF OF INSURANCE. I SHOWED THEM A COPY OF MY PERSONAL INSURANCE VEHICLE POLICY. THEY SAID THEY ONLY ACCEPT CERTAIN INSURANCES, WHICH THEY DID NOT STATE AT THE **** OF BOOKING AND MINE WAS NOT ON THEIR LIST. THEY SAID I HAD TO PURCHASE THEIR INSURANCE FOR $400 MORE. I CANT AFFORD THAT, SO I SAID ID LIKE TO CANCEL AND GET MY MONEY BACK. THEY SAID IT WAS NON REFUNDABLE. SO THEY KEPT MY MONEY WITHOUT OFFERING THE SERVICE I PAID FOR AND TRIED MAKING ME BUY THEIR INSURANCE. AND THATS NOT RIGHT.

Green Motion Car rental, in ***************, **.THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They did not return my security deposit of $500. They're claiming that I had returned the car with 2 scratches, which was not true at all. I had the car for only 2 days (04/02-04/04/2022). Please note that when they give the car, it's purposely WET, so you won't notice if there are any scratches. I trusted the company, so I did not take any pictures of the before and after. Then they said they found two starches. They did not informed me of any damage right there when I was returning the car in person. Then I notice the **** a month after, I tried to contested with no success, because according to them, they have proof of before and after pictures. I have seem the reviews of this company afterwards. there are a lot of people with the same exact complains. I booked this tru Orbitz.Greenmotion Confirmation: #EXP(B)-3200230-31777 Orbitz itinerary: **************

We rented a car through Priceline and was charged $196.84 (CDN) for a 4 day rental. We arrived May 12th to pick up the car and were coerced into purchasing additional insurance despite my coverage with personal auto insurance and travel **** credit card. They do not allow you any choice because the rental contract cannot be cancelled. They require a full declaration page via email or app only and only accept limited insurance companies for proof. We paid an additional $246.12 CDN to Green Motion which is what happens when you're exhausted and have been travelling since 2 am. The vehicle did not run smoothly from the beginning but we assumed that is how an SUV handles. Two hours into the rental we got a flat tire. Roadside assistance pointed out that the front tires were bald and should not be driven on. Green Motion refused to bring another vehicle to us and even went so far as to tell us that we would be charged for roadside assistance. We reluctantly drove this vehicle back to their office and asked for a refund for our remaining days and were refused. We were then offered another car with bald front tires which we refused. There were not many cars to choose from as a man was returning his car that had had the airbag light on, another woman was offered a car with a spare tire (not the one we returned). We were given a car that was very dirty, high mileage and had been in a visible accident. We had already wasted so much time of our vacation and had limited funds to take an Uber back to the airport (as Green Motion is offsite) and re-rent with another company. I am seeking compensation for overcharges, additional gas for the first return, inconvenience and poor vehicle conditions.
