I worked with this company to bail out an Immi***** Alien in 2019, all was fine up until it was time fo me to get my funds back upon completion of the case. which was 3/2/23. I have called endlessly and spoken to both a gentleman and a lady both whom have been rude and have basically told me that if I don't obtain documents from the alien in question it was simply very difficult or impossible to get my money back. I have spoken to USCIS and ICE and was routed to the correct department via email bond *************************** where I was told that I wasn't even listed on the bond as anything (meanwhile I put my homestead property and later paid in full via a check) and that no info would be provided to me. I have endlessly tried to get the owner *********************** to give me a call back and no luck only an email back with " we are waiting on the release" that was over 2 weeks ago. Now I go to the ***** Court and am told directly by an officer that " they know exactly how to obtain said release especially since it has been over 30 days of the closure of the case. I am in desperate need of my over $5,000 back. That office staff is so useless and rude that they even told me that I am the only one with this issue where I no longer have contact with the person I helped out. They even told me that they work remote and see people in office ******* but for me I would have to wait ti see if ******* wants to even ***** me an Appt because they only see new clients ( of course because like I said to take your money and property they will bend over backwards)Business response

Client contacted us to request refund of bond. It was explained that the bond cancellation had not yet been received so we asked if she could provide some evidence that the case was in fact resolved. Upon receipt of that evidence, a request was immediately sent to immigration to request bond cancellation. Said cancellation was just received by our office on Friday, 04/07/2023 and client's refund was processed today. I personally spoke with her and she confirmed receipt of her refund and advised that there was nothing else that we can assist her with.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: ************ actually charged me over the bond amount of $5,000, yesterday was the first time that ******* actually called and spoke with me, it took 25 calls yesterday and this complaint to finally get my money (the release was all of a sudden received) and the worst part is that this company has taken zero ownership of the treatment and headaches I've received thus far matter fact the couldn't even waive the $35 wire transfer fee to at least cover something towards all this mess. Conclusion this company or should I say the staff that work the company shouldn't deal with the public. And I can only tell the potential new customers to NOT utilize them unless they will never have a use for their funds or if they don't care to have a lien on their collateral forever.
Sincerely,

Attached, please find a copy of the recorded mortgage executed by our client. Note paragraph 4 where it states: "The undersigned will at all times indemnify, and keep indemnified the Mortgagee and save harmless the Mortgagee from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs. charges, legal fees, disbursements and expenses of every kind and nature, which the Mortgagee shall at any time sustain or incur, and as well from all orders, decrees,
judgments and adjudications against the Mortgagee by reason or in consequence of having executed or caused to be
executed the Bond or Indebtedness....."The additional expense our client is referring to is a total of an $85 payoff fee associated with processing the release of her property due to a real estate closing and a $1.60 recording fee shortage from time of bond execution. It is also important to note that refunds are processed via check but in this instance, our client requested that funds be sent via wire transfer and that fee was deducted from the $5,000 being held.
We certainly apologize for any stress or inconvenience this process may have caused our client. We can only work as quickly as documents are received and as previously stated, we only just received the bond cancellation last Friday. Please note that I did speak with our client yesterday and she confirmed receipt of the refund and that there was nothing else that we could assist her with.
