J&D Heating and Air Conditioning was called to repair my air conditioner since I was not getting any cool air. After about a week of not getting a resolution to the problem although I had paid over $2500 for repairs such as a new evaporator coil, new capacitor, leak test, etc. I had traveled to my place to see first had what was going on with my air conditioning. The service technician manager ********************* came to my home and indicated additional repairs were needed. I had contacted another AC company for a second opinion and it was determined the capacitor that was replaced was the incorrect size (wired for 50/5 mfd instead of 40/5) and the liquid line filter wasn't replaced when the evaporator coil was replaced. I provided pictures to ***** of both issues and who referred me to ************************* who offered to credit me $1,700 on the previous invoices charged to me for work incorrectly done to my unit. I had agreed and she was going to send me a check. On September 20th her email to me was a check "was going out to the mail tomorrow". I never received a check or credit back to my credit card. I had sent several emails inquiring on the status to no avail. I had been a customer of J&D ******************** and air conditioning since 2016 and would never use them again.Business response
