  I am filing this complaint against Noack & Company to highlight their gross incompetence and breach of trust in providing accounting services. The issues I encountered include:1. Poor Communication: Noack & Company failed to notify clients about important documents uploaded to their customer portal, causing delays and confusion.2. Unfulfilled Services: Despite charging monthly fees, Noack & Company did not deliver the agreed-upon services, including bookkeeping for one company and tax returns for three companies and private.3. Lack of Attention to Detail: They never sought necessary details for bookkeeping, resulting in numerous mistakes and inaccuracies in their work.4. Failure to Provide Timely and Accurate Information: Despite working on our bookkeeping for seven months, Noack & Company could not deliver current or accurate financial numbers.5. Unprofessional Response to Questions: When we asked for clarification, Noack & Company claimed they were not accustomed to this type of communication.6. Retaliatory Behavior: Upon expressing our dissatisfaction and terminating their bookkeeping services, they refused to complete the tax returns for two companies and private.These actions have led to significant financial damage, and we are seeking legal counsel to mitigate the negative impact caused by Noack & Company's incompetence. We strongly urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate and take appropriate action to protect other consumers from similar hardships and safeguard their financial well-being.Sincerely,******************

  I am rejecting this response because:
  
  We signed an engagement letter that defined the following services:
  
  Solution 2 - (1) Preparation of 2022 ****** Chocolates ****, (2) Preparation of Smargasy RE Holdings 2022 ****S, (3) Preparation of Smargasy 2022 ****S, (4) Preparation of Anreas ***** ************************* 2022 **** to include required FBARs, (5) Preparation of Andreas ***** ******* Form ****, (6) Monthly accounting for ****** Chocolates and (7) Annual Tax Planning meetings to review tax and financial plan
  
  We entered into an agreement with Noack & Company for accounting services, with a defined payment of $890 per month split between our two companies, ****** Chocolate US and Smargasy. We diligently paid all fees since January 2023, expecting accurate and up-to-date financial information for ****** Chocolates. However, despite their involvement since the beginning of the year, Noack & Company failed to provide us with the necessary financial data for ****** Chocolates.
  
  While they did prepare and file the Tax Returns for Smargasy for 2022, Noack & Company neglected to fulfill their obligations to prepare any other tax returns or forms, as explicitly agreed upon in the engagement letter.
  
  Due to our dissatisfaction with their bookkeeping services, we expressed our intention to cancel that specific service. Shockingly, in an act of retaliation, Noack & Company informed us that they would no longer work on any further tax returns, which is a clear breach of our contractual agreement.
  
  We have paid a total amount of $6,230 for the listed services, and it is unjustifiable for Noack & Company to argue that their extensive time spent on the bookkeeping of ****** Chocolates and the tax return of Smargasy absolves them of their responsibility to provide further services. The bookkeeping of ****** Chocolates is riddled with errors and inaccuracies, and even the tax return of Smargasy is incorrect, as we were not given an opportunity to discuss it with them before filing.
  
  The conduct of Noack & Company is unacceptable, as they have violated the terms of our agreement and failed to deliver the promised services to the expected standard. We request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to rectify the situation and prevent other consumers from falling victim to Noack & Company's inadequate services.
