      08/04/2023

*** ******* contacted the office yesterday,08/03/2023, to express that his vehicle was running poorly. The customer complained that a vacuum hose popped off of his vehicle. The office manager explained that we were 3 -4 weeks backed up and that we could schedule him in to inspect his vehicle at that time, currently the earliest appointment for drop off is September 19th. That did not satisfy him. *** ******* came in this morning,08/04/2023,9:10 a.m. and demanded he be seen immediately. I explained we were short handed and had many customers who waited their turn for their automobile to be seen and it wouldn't be fair to them to take the time away from them when they have waited their turn. This did not make him happy and he started getting loud. I then stepped in and asked him to leave and go home. He proceeded to get louder at which time I told him that I would call police to remove him if that was needed. He left.

We performed a service for him 1/31/2023. Rack and pinion replacement due to a power steering fluid leak. This will not cause his vehicle to run poorly 7 months later. Remanufactured components were used as no "new" units are available for his 2000 Pontiac Gran Prix.

12/1/2022 boost actuator valve was replaced with new GM components, it was a challenge but a new unit was located and installed. He also had a water pump leak, again new component installed along with a new thermostat, antifreeze and bypass hose kit. No used components. We also found a vacuum tee that was cracked and replaced it. No factory components, I.E hose package available from GM for this old of a vehicle. A aftermarket tee was the only solution.

12/03/201 Check engine light on, evap system gross leak detected. Found a fuel pump that was installed by another facility. The fuel pump seal was not installed correctly. Installed NEW fuel pump seal. Issue corrected.

*** *******'s  vehicle has 249,090 miles when we last saw the car in January of this year. *** ******* needs to realize that it will have additional issues due to the mileage and the fact that it is 23 years old.

Our services to him were provided as agreed and in compliance with factory repair methods. We will not tolerate being yelled at or belittled. Our track record speaks for itself. If within 12 months or 12000 miles any of the components we've replaced failed, the component is covered under warranty from the manufacturer. Labor carries a 90 day warranty, which is expired. If *** ******* needs his vehicle repaired sooner than we can accomadate, please advise to seek services elsewhere.
