On Tuesday morning August 6th, I called the Air America company of ************, **. My central A/C unit had stopped working. They said they would send out a repairman, There would be a $99.00 service fee. A technician came out to my house, and started with repairs. He said it needed a new transformer, and would it be $516.00. I gave him $516.00 And, he installed the new transformer. The A/C unit still did not work. He then told me it would need another part, which the office was ordering. He felt that that would fix the unit. On Thursday August 8th I called the office they said the part came in and the tech would come out to fix the A/C unit. He came, installed the part on, refilled the unit with some freon, and tried to run the A/C. It was then that he told us , that the copper parts were leaking and it was unrepairable. He told us that a new unit would $8,900.00. I told him I ,I do not have $9,000.00. I am retired, I live from check -to- check on Social Security. Since he did not repair our A/C unit. We asked that he subtract the $99.00 service fee and return our $417.00. He called the office, and they told him, the owner was out of town until the next Thursday , and only he could make that decision. He did not repair our A/C unit. We are due our $417.00.Customer response

Friday August 30th, I went out to ************ from ***********, and picked up the $417.00 that I claimed. I had been in contact with them
a few days. Thus, my complaint ends for me positively. Situation over.
