On 3/15, I bought a car from ******* Luxury ************* Before the purchase, I reviewed all the photos and descriptions on the dealers website, none of which indicated any damage to the car's sideview mirror. Upon receiving the car on 5/21, I saw damage on the mirror. The transporter told me the mirror was already damaged when he picked up the car from the dealer. I contacted the dealer, who stated, "its possible it happened here while waiting for transport." The transporter showed a photo taken before transport, showing the damage. This confirmed the damage occurred prior to transport and was not disclosed by the dealer. When I presented this to the dealer, he said, "let me see what I can do about the mirror," and later indicated he would look into finding the trim. However, further inspection revealed more extensive damage, requiring a repair beyond just replacing the trim. As no action was taken by the dealer, I got a quote from a local anutobody and sent it to the dealer. He did not respond.My second issue is with the shipping cost. I asked for an estimate to ship the car to my home. The dealer quoted, Shipping shows currently lowest prices at $400 to $500. After I sent full payment to the dealer, he told me that rates were much higher and suggested waiting for the demand to subside. I waited for a couple of months, but there was no reduction in cost. Desperately needing my car, I asked the dealer to secure transport. He wrote back, I just booked with a transporter pick up today or tomorrow and deliver within 3 days estimated Im glad we got this done. $1100. When I picked up the car, the transporter told me the agreed-upon cost was $1,200. I had to pay this amount to receive my car.I am seeking:Full reimbursement for the cost to repair the mirror to its original condition. I have received a quote from an autobody shop, estimating $700 to $1000.Repayment of $100 for the incorrect shipping quote, which is still $600 over the original estimate.
