On 02/22/2022 we installed a new air handler and condensing unit for ****************. Late in the evening 07/19/2022 Ms. ****** called us and stated the system was making a noise. We sent a technician first thing the next morning to evaluate the system and the noise was coming from the condensate drain line. Since the original diagnosis we have been out multiple times trying different adjustments to the drain line to alleviate the noise. The issue we're having is that because ******************** home is a condominium and she shares a main drain line that runs through her wall then underground with several other units. Unfortunately she is on the bottom floor and closest to the main shared drain line. We have met with the condo association representatives and showed them the issue, which they heard and agreed thats where the noise is coming from, looking for help from them, but with no success. The only other way to remove the condensation from the air handler would be with a condensate pump that would pump the condensation up through the condo above hers and out side through the attic. The problem that would create is that the pump would make noise, which **************** stated she didn't want, and it would have to be cleared through condo association because the line would come out the attic eave and down the side of the building. We're willing to do whatever we can to alleviate the noise but the drain line creating the noise isn't assessable as it runs through her wall and then underground which is shared with several other condo units.
