Contacted Dr *** in Aug 12, 2022 to produce a rapid prototype to be ready by end of September. Paid $2500 (50%) up front with balance due upon delivery of ************* *** promised money back if I wasnt satisfied. Missed original deadline so set another deadline in December and also missed that one. Dr *** has not produced anything to this date. After second missed deadline I requested money back with good faith down payment by end of year. Received nothing.Business response

Refund requested and accepted just before Christmas , work was halted.... last communication Dec 9th... client was kind and offered to let us make payments on the refund to which we agreed, attached email letter is drafted in response to this complaint, but has not yet been sent... please advise.

I am rejecting this response because:The business did not make an honest effort to produce the prototype. The business missed every deadline and made excuses that they were too busy working on other projects every time I asked for an update. Now the business claims they have no money to repay me for a service that was never provided. I have asked owner to provide a good faith down payment on the money owed to me and have not received anything.

This response was taken verbally by BBB:
The customer wanted me to both finish the project and refund him. I told him that that was not possible and asked him what he wanted. The customer wanted me to finish the project, which I agreed to. This agreement occurred on January 18th, after the customer's January 16th rejection to the ******************** and the customer advised me that he contacted ******************** to close his complaint.
