I took out a loan from workplacecredit a while ago been paying a long time. Have been trying to login and call to get balance on my account. Allotments keep coming out, Finally got a letter saying they owe me money, sent account info for them to send to. Really would like a phone call that would be great or a number I can call this is insane.

We attempted to reimburse this client on 1/12/2024 for the amount of $76.21 this refund was returned to us as no such account.

We also attempted refunds on 2/9/24 and 2/22/24 both in the amounts of $37 both of these were returned for the same reason.

We have requested new bank information but have not received yet.

Please have them contact us at ************ so we may obtain the correct bank information.

      Thanks

I have diligently tried to contact this company over and over again. Their website no longer works. Their phone numbers and email are out of service. Yet they contact me and threaten me that I owe them money. I have in good faith tried to get ahold of them to take care of any outstanding balance but can't. Which makes me wonder if this company has gone out of business but are still trying to get money from their clients which sounds fraudulent. If I am unable to reach them then I am not responsible for any debts that are outstanding. What kind of company is this if we are not able to contact them.

As I mentioned the phone number that is provided is not in service. This issue has been going on since the first complaint in 2022 and till today its still not in service. As you can see the email is also undeliverable since 2022. How much more evidence you need that this company is fraudulent in terms of not being able to let their clients contact them. Just because the company responds back to BBB does not mean that they are a good business. They respond to you but not their clients. Just look at the complaints they got.

One problem I see is the email she is trying to contact is incorrect we can be reached at info@workplacecredit.com, also we have not heard from her since July 2023.

The last payment made on this loan was October 2023, there is still a balance due on this account.

Please have her contact us at the correct email info@workplacecredit.com

      Thanks

I sent out a TEST email to the email that they said is valid. I will let BBB know if it comes back undeliverable or if it is valid before I am satisfied with their response. Also this response from them in no way validates that they are a good business. Their phone numbers and website still has not worked in over 2 years and they want to say that I haven't contacted them since July 2023.

      Customer response

      04/15/2024

Also I would like to mention that the phone number of ************ that they referred to on their email that they sent me is still saying number you dialed is not in service at this time. I just called the number about 5 minutes ago. And I just went to their website and it is still not in service for over 2 years. Let's see what phone number and excuse they will be using to blame me for.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Why are they saying that I used the wrong email address when all I did was hit reply to the email address that they used? See attachment. If it was wrong why were they using it in the first place to send me the email. Something doesn't sound right here. Yet, they want to blame me that I'm using the wrong email address.

The last correspondence we had with this customer was on 8/1/23 which we stated what the balance due was on the loan.

This customer sent a test message on April 15, 2024 which we responded how we could help and they have not responded to our email.  There is still an outstanding balance due on the loan they took out with Workplacecredit.

      Thanks

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The issue here is not that I am denying that I have a balance due on the loan. I know there is a balance and I have every intention of paying it off. The issue here is that Workplace Credit blatantly lied that I used the wrong email address which is absurd because I hit the reply button to the email address that they used to send to me. Also, how can a company have a phone number and website that has not been in working order for years and still feel that they have done nothing wrong and want to be accredited by the BBB. They have blatantly lied that the phone number that is on the email they sent is working by telling the customers to call them if we have any questions or need assistance. I just called the phone number ************ on their email and it still says this phone number is not in service at this time. A good company takes responsibility for their actions regardless if it's good or bad. They do not keep finding excuses and put the blame on their customers.

I am not satisfied with them not taking responsibility for their error. I want to make sure that it is posted on your website that customers should be aware of this company and not to do business with them. Very unprofessional, blatantly lies, phone and website not in working order for over 2 years now. Fraudulent practices.

I have an outstanding balance with workplace credit and get no response from the company, as I am trying to pay off my loan. I have called the phone number listed on the website and it disconnects when transferring. No one from workplace credit will respond to my emails. I have allotments set up, but unable to see my account online or have any control over my loan balance. I need someone from workplace credit to respond/contact me so I can pay this loan off ASAP.

Received a loan through workplacecredit.com (no issue there) Website is unavailable for over a year, cannot log in to my account I have been making payments on this account since I took the loan out (it comes directly out of my paycheck), checked my credit report today and it shows the account has been closed. They emailed meall the way up until 11:15am when they apologized for sending them. Here is a copy and paste of the emails they sent repeatedly(they sent multiple of the same email, but also other dates and amounts as well): Example 1: Dear **** **** ***** , We have received your payment of $112.09 and will apply it to your outstanding balance of $3111.15 on the payment due date. Your next payment due date is 09-02-2022. Regards, WorkPlaceCredit Example 2: Dear **** **** ***** , We have received your payment of $112.09 and will apply it to your outstanding balance of $3200.10 on the payment due date. Your next payment due date is 08-19-2022. Regards, WorkPlaceCredit At 3:19am I responded to one of their emails with: Its 3:19am i have now received 62 emails in the last hour alone. Please stop!!!!!! Finally at 11:19am they responded back with: Dear Customer, we are sorry to hear this, our technical team have been working on issues that some customers have had about email updates. We shared your issue with the technical team and apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if this issue is ongoing. Thanks, WorkPlaceCredit Team. The emails finally stopped at this point after a total of 106 of the same email. I have kept all the emails in question as evidence. I also have my entire payment history from my paycheck as well.

I have an installment loan with Work Place Credit as a Federal Employee. Over the last month I have wanted to increase my allotment but I cannot In-house Capital/ Work Place Credit will not answer the phone nor my email request for my account number. I took out the loan a few years ago and have gotten it under $2000. There isn’t a prepayment penalty. The only problem on my end is the USPS has increased online security in ******** (our internal system to make changes or add things to the payroll etc). So they now require an account number when making changes to our allotments. I have left emails and voicemails explaining this. And it’s now going on a month with no response. I just want my account and routing number so that I can increase my allotment. Getting in contact with them is now void since I can’t do it myself online because they control every aspect of my account.

Website has been down for months for existing customers. When dialing their phone number, operator says call transfer fail. This has been going on for awhile. No one answers your emails. Payments are made directly to them via an allotment through Cross River Bank. On Jan 27 at 3:37 a.m. HST I received an email stating my payment was not received by the due date, let me remind you that the payments are automatically sent to them. As of yet I have tried to contact them to no avail! Why are they allowed to still do business if they will not assist us! Help!

      **** ***** *******

We are writing in response to your complaint to the Better Business Bureau regarding the email sent to you below. We are sorry you have had trouble communicating with us but note that you never responded to our last email to you below.

Did you hear back from ******* ****** ******* has since left our employment; another colleague is about to take over and we will let you know as soon as she does.

We note that you had a "double" payment both ACH and Payroll deductions taken out on 1/27/22. This was  because your payroll has been lowered beyond the minimum payment amount of $108.97 as per the terms of your loan agreement. The ACH payment was pulled to make up for the deifict and to ensure that your loan account remains up to date and so you do not receive an adverse credit rating. If you increase your payroll to this minimum amount, there should be no additional ACH pulls.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

      Thanks,
