      A few people have spoken to this customer along with myself. He called our office in an extremely rude manner and he was sent to me after an employee tried to provide resolution, that he was unhappy with.  His first demand was that we send one of our technicians to where he was located free of charge. Myself and the employee explained to him that we do not travel that far- he was well out of our travel zone. 

      He then demanded that we send someone on his behalf and take care of those charges. I explained to him that the tire could have had a plethora of things happen on the road from our shop to where he was located- not to mention that he called to report the issues around two weeks after we completed the work. He then became very upset and started to threaten a lawsuit and many other things. I apologized to the customer for the issues at hand but the issue was out of our control at this point. He ended this phone call with "I hope your business runs into hell". I wished him the best of luck and ended the conversation.

       

      He then called and spoke to me and advised me that I should change my attitude and or decision on this issue because it was indeed the valve stem that caused the tire to go flat. I asked him to send us a copy of the bill or some sort of proof and I would get with the owners to see how to resolve this issue. I stand by my employees over his word of mouth. He was extremely unreasonable from the very beginning of this issue and did not seem happy with any proof that I asked him to provide. He then continued to threaten me and hung up the phone before I could gather his contact information. We have not heard back from the customer up until today when we received his statement to BBB.

      The owners decided to issue a credit for any further work as an apology for the issues he had during his travels. We have been awaiting contact from the customer to discuss the resolution we came to.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Good morning *****

      I called Davis tire in a very calm tone and they gave me a number to call

      It was **************.  And requested I talk to *****

      I called and she said she was the owner of the company and proceeded to lay into me 

      Told me if I ever came on her property or called her or the business again that she will turn me in to the police and then promptly hung up as did the people I talked to before when I filed the complaint.  As mentioned to you previously I knew in my mind this was not going to go well.  I’m not worried about her saying she had a tape recorded conversation with threats because the only thing I had previously said was I would let the BBB handle this matter or our lawyer. The owner would not let me speak at all. 

      I’m not happy with the response and I don’t believe this is a closed matter

      She yelled over the phone that you will get nothing from me or the business. 

      This is all a circumstance of unneeded events that has turned sour.  I am just an unsatisfied consumer at the mercy of a business not caring about their customer

       

      By the way this ***** was in no way involved with our transaction on the tires and is only accepting what her daughter and employees are saying
