I was charged on my account with out signing the consent, even tho I filled out a paper online. I called to cancel my order and get my money back, they got upset and called my dr to let him know I was not purchasing the item from them. They said they would cancel my order and refund me, they never cancelled my order and when I called back ***** said shed would take care of it and send it to the accounting ***** 1 week later on the 31st I called back a gentle man Picked up and told me I was rude the last time I called and hung up on me several timesBusiness response

This individual placed an order with our company and then immediately cancelled her order through her credit card company. We never shipped the equipment to this individual, nor were we paid. She cancelled her credit card. As a result, we never did business with this individual.Initial Complaint

On February 16, I placed a order for Facedown equipment, for a macular hole surgery on Monday February 20. I received the equipment on Friday the 17. I opened the box to assemble equipment and found it was inadequate, no car driving unit, the equipment was chipping paint , it wasn't cleaned , I attempted to call the company but no answer, I called Sunday , no answer. Without the correct equipment the Dr had to cancel the surgery. It was essential that a face down unit for transportation was included . Also the mirror that was put in the box did not work. With massive disappointment due to surgery needing to be cancelled, they are trying to regain my vision, I called company on Monday. The representative stated to watch a tube video to set up equipment and just use any pad to travel, which is impossible. That would be detrimental to the success of the surgery. The equipment was completely unusable. I returned the equipment Tues Feb 21, 2023, due to it being Presidents Day on Monday. I called the company and told them I shipped it back and to refund my money, $225. They were beyond rude , stated it was my own decision not to use the equipment. They stated the chipping of the paint was unharmful, they use lead free paint.The paint chipping, was where you put your face down, and if breathed in and went in my eye would be extremely damaging ******* the manager was so horrible . She stated she told of a no refund policy which she did not. The equipment was unusable dirty and incorrect. Pictures were sent to my Dr and he said absolutely not to proceed. All I am asking for a refund and apology. They were awful.I was sent a statement stating the rental is from March 13 through March 20, 2023, which is in the future. They have the equipment returned .Business response

We never advertised any travel cushions or any apparatus to be used in a car of any sort. If you have a photo or some proof to the contrary, please forward it to us.
What you ordered either from our brochure or online advertisement is exactly what you received.

I am rejecting this response because:The equipment that was received was chipping paint, stained and missing equipment. Their response stating no travel unit was promised is completely false. When speaking with the representative at the initial order, this was explicitly clarified patient needed . I called the company immediately and they claimed just get pillows to travel and I shouldnt be traveling anyway. I explained initially that my Dr was 2 hrs away and it was a necessity.
In reference to the staining and chipping of paint. The representative said what do I expect , it is a rental unit . Said wipe off myself and dont worry paint chipping is lead free .
This chipping was on my floor and being face down breathing this in and or the chipping of paint in my eye would have been a nightmare to my eye and breathing.
I received the equipment on Friday , called the company Saturday, Sunday , and they stated dont travel! And watch utube to figure out equipment. I told them it was unacceptable and I was returning it next day. Monday was Presidents Day , so equipment was returned Tues.
My surgery was cancelled due to the improper equipment. The Dr would not let me proceed.
I requested a refund and they were so rude and ugly in the phone . They absolutely degraded and demeaned me.
They said they were going to charge for a rental 3/13/23 for a week . They took my money and refused to return it . A clear case of wrong equipment which was a health hazard was sent and they refused return of money.
